If you follow me on Instagram (@dolldiaries – of course) or Facebook (Facebook.com/DollDiaries) then you may have already seen some of these photos of Ivy and some of the things she is doing on vacation. Where is Ivy vacationing, you ask? It’s a top secret location for the time being, but let’s just say it’s hot, rains at the same time everyday and there is lots to do here.
On her first journey out of the room at the resort, Ivy stops to show you the fountain.
Ivy loves to golf and there is mini golf in the activities area. Maybe she can make a hole in one.
Oh yes, the playground! Let’s swing for a few minutes!
Oh, how fun! A giant size chess game – this should be interesting.
These bikes look like fun – but I’ll leave the driving to someone experienced. We almost got run over by three crazy teenage girls on our way back to the room. They were laughing and couldn’t decide who was supposed to be steering. It was quite funny, actually.

Rebecca, is a doll I don’t have, but I haveLsbie, and she has the same sort of hair. You need to have the sparkly hair pick. Not the brush. It will snag and friz her hair. I think Lanie is pretty easy to take care of. You will also need a spray bottle. If you want her hair to keep the shine and non friz able, then buy an unused toothbrush to tame. So really I think Rebecca would be ok. She is on my wish list, but I will buy her, as I have asked for enough expensive stuff from AG. When I get my Rebecca, I will tell you more on how to take care of it. I think maybe in AGTube, because I have made lots of stop motions and stuff. I hope this comment shows up!

Jordy, that’s cool! I think she is a good choice. I personally like the Historicals the best, as I am a history geek and I just love the historical clothing. I hope I can add Becky, Marie Grace, myag 33, Addy, and GOTY 2013! I have always had this fantasy where I had a collection of all the gotys. I love the GOTYS!

Jordy- I have Rebecca. She is a beautiful doll, and if you do what Delaney said, you’ll be fine. I would also reccomend just finger styling it. I know two other little girls who have her and they are able to take care of her. Hope you get her for your birthday! She is my favorite doll.

Those bikes look like the bikes in downtown Paris. But the Hotel part doesn’t look like France at all. So I am not sure where Ivy is.

After my Samantha doll read this, she’s been interrogating my Ivy doll because Samantha thinks all Ivy dolls think alike. My dollhouse is in chaos!

Sounds like you were in Colorado or south Dakota where it has monsunes or what err they are called. We saw a lot of that when I was recently on a camping trip in the black hills.
