When I posted some of Ivy’s vacation photos the other day, many of you guessed correctly as to where we are. Yes, we are in Florida. Orlando to be specific. Even though we have not gone to any of the Disney parks – we are too busy playing in the pool, riding the boats, and relaxing – we did go over to Downtown Disney the other day and I just had to pick up the Minnie Mouse outfit for 18″ dolls that you can buy at the World of Disney shop. Ivy was very happy to see we had got her something.
Now these aren’t the best photos because I was using my iPhone and didn’t have great lighting, but you can still see all the cuteness!! This is Ivy wearing the Minnie Mouse outfit for the 18″ dolls. The outfit consists of the headband, dress, knee high socks that say Minnie, the cutest little shoes, a purse, a hairbrush and a mirror. The set costs about $30 and is a pretty good value if I do say so myself. They had the princess outfits for 18″ dolls, too, but I thought the Minnie Mouse one was more unique!
The shoes are just about the cutest thing ever!! They are black patent Mary Janes with Minnie Mouse on the front. So stinkin’ cute!!
The purse is a pretty good size but other than that, it is nothing special. But… it works with the whole outfit and it is a nice addition to the set.
The mirror and brush also come in the set. While the brush is nothing more than just a plastic hair brush, I happen to think the handheld mirror is adorable.

And from another angle. I just think this outfit suits Ivy so well! I bet it will look cute on Kanani and Chrissa, too.
I will try to get Ivy out for another photoshoot on the other side of the resort today!

That is an awesome outfit! If nothing else, the purse makes a great place to store all the bits and pieces. Now are you sure the girls aren’t going to be fighting over it? Maybe you should have bought two?

That outfit is darling! I haven’t been to Disney World since ’08 but I loved it! Char, you ought to see if they have the animators collection of princess dolls. They are the cutest things. I have Rapunzel and I LOVE her! Maybe you could get one to review

Delaney – that is funny! Ivy is one of “my” dolls (Felicity is my other AG) and when it came time to decide what we were taking on vacation, Natalie chose to bring her Bitty Baby and I chose Ivy. One of the reasons why I picked Ivy for this trip is that her hair is just so easy to maintain – and she is cute!
Emma – I saw the Animators collection of the princess dolls and posted a photo of the Rapunzel on Facebook. They were cute, but I decided to pass on them.
I have that outfit and the Ariel one! They are very good quality and just awesome!

Alicen- Nowhere else except Disney. I think on main street in magic kingdom they sell them but other than these two, no one else has them.

Guess what char? I was in new york yesterday and went to the ag place in nyc!!!!!!! It was soo cool and was huge! I got mckennas practice leo and her acceries!! I was on vacation too!!

What’s the Halloween parade?
Alicen, I have been to Disney World 4 times, and I have looked for this line.
They have it at Downtown Disney, Mainstreet, in Epcot, and a few other places. The line is called My Disney Girls and the dolls are precious! I have one (I got her before I had an AG, and I was really into the princesses) and have most of the outfits. I think you can get them at other places in Disney World too. You can also get them at DisneyLand.
Chloe, the Halloween Parade is like a reader photo, with the theme of Halloweeen Costumes (nothing scary and no people only dolls or stuffed animals) I think Char has been doing them for awhile now. I always have do much fun searching ” Halloween Parade” in the search bar. Hope this helps.
I had thought they had retired these outfits. I went to Disneyland last Dec and looked all over for them, even asking disney workers, and store clerks if they had them. Apparently they are only in DisneyWorld then.
Omg I just got that like a month ago when I was in Disney!:) I begged my dad to go to downtown Disney just to get some stuff for chrissa my doll ( goty 2009 )
