Hello doll lovers! Natalie is here today to show you how to make a quick and easy doll cafe.
What you need:
- A large cardboard box
- Duct tape (paint works too)
- glue (I am using hot glue but any glue works)
- Fun Foam
- 2 wooden skewers or dowels
- clear packing tape
- Make a pick up sign, order sign, cafe menu, and and Cafe sign.
First take your box and scissors and turn your box so it is facing up.
Now cut off the front flap. Save what you cut off though! You WILL need it!
Tape down the other small flaps with your clear packing tape.
Now take you skewers/dowels and poke two holes in the box on the closed side.
Duct tape the whole box but be careful not to cover the holes!
Now take your extra cardboard and put glue all around the edges. Put the piece into the open side of the box.
Trim off any cardboard hanging over the edge. Ta-da! You now have a shelf!
Now take your dowel/skewer.
Put a bit of glue on them and then put them in the holes. to make it even more sturdy put a small ring of hot glue around them.
Now take you cafe sign.
Glue it to some fun foam for a cleaner look.
Now tape or glue the sign to the two skewers/dowels.
I even added two little signs that say “open” and “closed”.
Now take you menu, pick up sign, and order sign and glue them to fun foam.
Now take the signs and glue or tape them on the dowels/skewers!
And then the final step… Grab some dolls and food and open your cafe!
