Have you seen the Hearts for Hearts girls yet? I first heard about this line of six dolls from around the world last fall, but for some reason I never got around to featuring them. Then last week I was at Target with my daughter doing school shopping and I took at peek in the doll section – because I can’t go into a store that I know has dolls without checking them out – and these sweet little faces caught my eye!
The Hearts for Hearts Girls (also found as H4H or Hearts 4 Hearts) are 14″ tall and are vinyl bodied dolls meant for play. They have pose-able limbs and rooted hair. The premise behind the line of dolls is that they are for girls who want to make a difference in the world around them. Each character is an advocate for a cause that will better the community around them and a donation to a local children’s charity in the character’s country is made for each doll purchased.
So, let’s meet the girls – click on the images for more photos and information about each girl!
The Hearts for Hearts dolls retail for $29.99 and come with a doll sized comb, a mini storybook about their life and a girl sized charm bracelet. Additional outfits are available for each doll, too. Right now you can find the Hearts for Hearts dolls at Target, Toys R Us and Amazon. If you visit the Hearts for Hearts Girls website you can learn more about each doll, her story, the charities they work with and play games that are appropriate for girls of all ages.
Which one is your favorite? My daughter likes Tipi best, but I really think Lilian and Nahji have such sweet looks.
