Madelon and Emily’s Madame Alexander Favorite Friend celebrates National Doughnut Day.
National Doughnut Day is the successor of Doughnut Day, which was created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor women who served doughnuts in 1938 to World War 1 soldiers. (According to Wikipedia). It is a good day to celebrate and keeps Memorial Day in my mind a little bit longer.

Happy Kryptonite Day to me! During AP studying, my teacher twice bought Krispy Kremes for the whole class to eat. The doughnut holes didn’t bother me, but the next week, he brought whole doughnuts!! I ate two whole doughnuts (don’t tell my mom) and I had a lead tummy for six hours! I’m never eating another Krispy Kreme doughnut again.
Both times, I asked my TRX instructor, Charlene, that if she makes class intense, I would sing for her. And both times I “paid in advance. She likes it when I sing
I got the term “Kryptonite,” from a friend. I told her about the doughnut story and she told me, “[Pretty Irish AG], that’s your Kryptonite!”
