Good Morning! Camp Doll Diaries counselors Callie and Grace have spent all weekend at the Camp Doll Diaries camp site finalizing the plans, coordinating the counselor schedule and relaxing before camp officially starts next week.
“Grace, I can not believe that this time next week Camp Doll Diaries will be full of campers checking in, getting settled in their tents and cabins and making new friends,” said Callie.
“I know, right? How are you feeling about our themes this year? I think they are really great,” answered Grace.
“Me, too,” replied Callie.
“These new sleeping bags are so comfortable – I just know our campers will love them,” added Callie.
“Do we have enough lanterns?” asked Grace.
“Yes,” replied Callie, “but we need to double check that they are all working.”
“We can do that after breakfast,” said Grace.
“How do you like your eggs, Callie?” she asked.
“Those look delicious – just give them one more flip and they should be perfect,” replied Callie.
Callie and Grace are off to check on the lanterns, make sure the trails are clear, finalize the activity schedules and if they are lucky, they may even get to take a quick swim in the lake later today!
Stay tuned this week for more pre-camp activities, printables and fun. Let your doll loving friends know that next week we officially start and the more who join in, the better!

Yes – I am working on counselor assignments today.
Yay!! I’m going to try to do as many weeks as possible; it’s my third year.
Still two weeks of school left here, so we will be running a bit behind, but looking forward to seeing what some of the activities are. I need to get my girls who are participating some shirts!
Can’t wait! ^_^ This is my Second year but I never really got into it the previous year. This time I will!

Can’t wait for my first ( official ) year of camp !!
My dolls are so excited they are all packed up right now!!!!!!!
Can’t wait for Camp Doll Diaries to start! Unfortunately, I’m going to be on vacation for a week during June . . . so I’ll miss a week of CDD! When two of my dolls, Tracy and MJ (a re-named Grace) saw these pictures, they decided that they wanted to be counselors. They’re best friends and are sure that this summer is going to be a blast, especially because MJ’s birthday is July 3d! They’re going to celebrate her birthday on the Fourth of July.
So excited!!!! This is technically my first year since I didn’t do any of the crafts from the other summers. I enjoyed see what other people made though. I Can’t Wait For CDD ( Camp Doll Diaries)
Our dolls started receiving acceptance letters to Camp this week. They are telling their stories on our blog. So ready for Camp. The Coleman stove is wonderful!!
YAY! I am SUPER excited for camp to start, and so are my dolls! Are you going to make buttons for blog sidebars like you did last year?
SOO EXCITED!!!!

Finally! This blog ate 3 posts for lunch today!
Ok, it looks like your dolls are roughing it this year. Are they doing tents instead of cabins?
Speaking of cabins, for those who haven’t done Camp Doll Diaries before, some of us think it’s fun to name our tents or cabins and choose which dolls are gonna be in them. You don’t actually have to have a tent or cabin. It’s just something fun we do. For instance, my girls will be in the Red Robins, Blue Jays, and Yellow Canaries. My boys will be in the Trailblazers.
How about you?
I am working on the blog sidebar buttons and should have them ready this week.
Sharry – this year some of our campers will have tents and others will stay in cabins. I don’t have as much space as I have had in years past so tents may work better for me.
I can’t wait to make a camp doll diaries series on you tube this year. Week one should be up by next Saturday. 🙂
