Part of Isabelle’s design studio is her very cute dress form that she can test her designs on. However, you have to spend $275 to buy her studio in order to get the dress form. Luckily there are plenty of ways you can add a dress form to Isabelle’s collection without breaking the bank.

While this very cool dress form Madelon found at TJ Maxx is not perfectly sized for Isabelle, the French inspired writing on it makes it so perfect to add to her collection. Madelon paid $12.99 for it. Bargain. I would also check places like Hobby Lobby, Joann, Francesca’s and even Target to see if you can find something that will work for your design studio.

If you know how to sew or can get crafty, Liberty Jane Patterns has a simple Dress Form pattern you can purchase for $3.99 and then use scrap fabric you already have. No fabric scraps – take a look in your own closet for items you have outgrown and may be getting ready to donate or toss.

My Dolls Life sells a dress form for $23.95 that has an elegant wooden base.

Carpatina.com also sells both 18″ slim body and 18″ soft body dress forms that you can get at the Carpatina site or from Amazon.

American Girl used to sell a dress form very similar to the My Dolls Life and Carpatina versions and if you keep your eyes open you may be able to find them at thrift stores or on eBay for reasonable prices.

And this just in – Diana saw my post and sent over these photos of the dress form she found at Hobby Lobby.

We are going to have a fun year of discovering Fun Finds inspired by Isabelle, I just know it!!
