I can not wait for Spring Break to finally be here for my kids!! Apart from the fact that I am ready for a break from 5:45 a.m. wake ups, my daughter and I have been wanting to get the sewing machine back out and make some new clothes for her dolls. She has a few patterns already, but Liberty Jane Clothing posted a new free pattern today that is too cute and I am pretty sure my daughter can handle it. It is the blue dress in the first row below:
Liberty Jane has a great selection of free patterns for doll clothes (for American Girl, BFC Ink, Karito Kids and more) as well as ones you can purchase. In addition, they have an intensive 4 week Design Academy you can purchase if you are interested in taking your doll clothes fashion designing one step further or interested in designing your own doll clothes to sell. I am thinking the Design Academy might be a perfect summer project for my daughters and myself.
Have you made any doll clothes for your doll? Check out the patterns at Liberty Jane – they are contemporary, fun and your dolls will thank you – and if you need more doll clothes patterns visit my other round up of doll clothes patterns.
