I have a case of the Fridays, and while I am working on posting another giveaway for you this afternoon, I needed to procrastinate a break first 
I find doing doll hair to be very relaxing and when I saw this cool four strand braid photo on Pinterest, I just had to try it.
It is called the Sailor’s Sweetheart four strand braid and when you click on the image on Pinterest it goes to a site that no longer exists. Luckily the “how to” photos are pretty clear and did the job. Divide your doll’s hair into four pieces and follow the steps above. You may want to practice with four different colors of yarn first, but it was easier than I thought.
The result of my first effort:
This style really works well on Kanani for the obvious reason that her hair is soooo long. Another reason is that Kanani’s hair has some curl to it which means the braid is less likely to slip while you are working with it.
And Ellowyne Positively Negative also had her hair done. Ellowynes with really long hair (most of them) are perfect for these fun hairstyles. Even though her hair is straight and very long, once I spritzed it with water it was super easy to work with.

Just got all of my wisdom teeth out yesterday. I find hospitals absolutely terrifying, and it took an hour to get an Iv into me. They had to give me medicine to calm me because I have had so many bad experiences with Iv’s and my veins roll so bad. To be honest, I was fine with the surgery, but there were people swarming me because I was sobbing while they were trying to stick me.
On a positive note, my Mom said that I did so well, she is going to take me to my favorite doll store tomorrow and pay for my new wig to turn one of my dolls into a boy! I am super excited. My mom bought me some boy doll clothes on eBay. I found some boy briefs for American girl dolls, cargo pants, a plaid shirt, and my mom let me bid on some other outfits. I will try and send in a picture of him if I feel alright when I come home. I just can’t wait!

This is so cool! And OUCH Brianne! When I was little I was terified of shots (okay so maybe I still am). It took 5 people to hold me down for one shot once. I feal so bad for you. You must be really BRAVE!

Brie- I feel so bad for you! I HATE shots and needles and pricks and things XP I have to get my tooth pulled on thursday cause it has a really deep cavity, and that made it break, so if we tried to get it filled it would REALLY hurt. My dentist said NOOOO to trying to fix it!! He didn’t want to make me and my mom upset
At least it is a baby tooth (it’s like one of the last molars I have to loose) and it would probably fall out in 8 months or so…. But we don’t want it to get infected. Sorry for my rambling, I’m really nervous… I’ll probably be laughing and crying at the same time! (I laugh or cry or both when I’m nervous.. hehehehe wahahaha LOL) OK time for bed! LOL realllyy late here. OKBYE.

I wish i could try this on my friend’s kanani but she let her dolls hair get really knotted! Brie-Hope you feel better, I have never used an IV but my friend has when they took her tonsils out i think.But i have gotten teeth pulled. The last one I totally freaked out! When they pulled out those huge metal plyers I practically jumped out of my chair, My eyes even grew about twenty times there size! Hope this gives you a good laugh and makes you feel petter (P.S. I still got money for that tooth and some new ag stuff for being brave. It was on sale)
Ahhh. I feel so bad for you Brie! I feel your pain! The last two years I was really sick (I’m better now) I had to have IV’s and everything else Now I Hate doctors (Not Personally) and always freak out whenever I go to them By the way, one time lat year or something I had to go to a doctorI was so upset I ran around the plaza and my parent had to chase me and carry me in the doctors office it was embrassing
