Karen here and today I wanted to share a craft with you that I made that was inspired by something I found on Pinterest from Tiffany’s Tidgings for the doll sized version I picked small pine cones from my yard, had some wonderful fabric paint on hand for not just color but texture and up-cycled some dollar store flower leaves and I am thrilled with how they turned out. You can easily make these for your own dolls as well!

To make your own you will need:

-Pine Cones

-Tulip Yellow Fabric Paint

-Paint Brush

-Low Temp Glue Gun/glue sticks

-Leaves from Dollar Store Flowers

-Scissors

-A jar or yogurt container

Step 1- Gather your supplies. Step 2 pour a small amount of your paint into a jar or yogurt container. Dip your paint brush into the paint and begin painting the tips of your pine cones all the way around. Paint each of your pine cones and then allow them to dry.

Step 2-Plug in your glue gun.  Remove the leaves from your flower stems. Make cuts in the green leaves almost to the bottom, to create a more frayed leaf.

Step 3- Add a dab of glue to the top of your pine cone and carefully press the leaves into place holding them until the glue sets around them. Repeat on each pine cone.
