One of our readers, Madeline, recently rescued an antique Susan Strollers doll. She sent us the before photos (click here to see the before pictures of Susan Stroller) and now that the doll has had some TLC from Madeline and her Dad she looks so much better!

Firstie!

Hi Pricilla!
She is soooo cute!
oh wow sallie i did’nt even see your comment b4 u typed so quick!! lol ur right she does look a lot better now!
Some old dolls are a little scary, I guess, but she fixed her up great! Great
job Madeline!
I was like super exited I’ve never been first! Lena or Sarah are always there! grrr……,.
i have to go do my chores now, sorry!! bye!
I don’t think anyone should sell a dolly on eBay unless they are like a hundred years old b/c ppl will get super mad at u if u take it down.
Bye!!!!!!!!!!
Haha, I’m usually first because I’m homeschooled and have nothing better to do than hang out here all day (not sure if this is good or bad, lol)
Good job Madeline! She’s very cute now, and she looks good in Addy’s clothes too!
Thank you, but you guys don’t even know that she is NOT DONE! She needs hair!!! Really! Her body has cracks all over it, and her eyes wobble everywhere! Like when you pick the dolly up, her eyes will just stay closed. You’ve got to knock her head. Aww, my dad might have to cut her head in half and glue it back together! But hair will cover it, hopefully. Maybe since Char posted lots of my pictures already, I might just send 2 or 3 pictures when she is TRULY finished. And her full name is Maggie Susan Stroller.
I love that name! That’s the name of my old My Disney Girl doll.
And I noticed the lack of a wig and some of the cracks on her arms and legs. If she is made of vinyl, then it can be heated and her eyes can be removed that way. Search youtube “how to eye swap”, it may save her head.
Great job fixing her, Madeline!
BRAVO!!!!
haha sorry, as I said before, I was in Chicago for the weekend (NOT trying to brag), and I got Beckie’s Hanukkah dress!!!!!!!! It’s so pretty, but I can’t tie the bow quite right, lol. The shoes are interesting….
I couldn’t believe how different the new Chicago store is from the old one!! AH-mazing. (tee-hee!)
and I know it’s extremely late (er.. early…)
but BOUNA NOTTE!!
Awesome job!!
