Do you have a holiday tradition of watching or performing in the Nutcracker? I am still hoping we get to go this year, if not, we will have to find it on TV to watch with the dolls. Liese of DollPlaySA.com just went to the Nutcracker on ice and decided to make our dolls a mini Nutcracker book to enjoy reading after ballet class or curled up by the fireplace.
Her model today is a South African Girl Doll – Annie is her name and she is wearing clothes made by Doll Tag Clothing. I think Annie’s face is just so sweet and looks adorable in the pink ballet outfit.
To make the mini Nutcracker book:
Step 2 – Cut out around the edge solid line
Step 3 – Fold on all the dotted lines
Step 4 – Cut the solid line in the center top of the book (marked dark pink)
Step 5 – Shape and fold the book
Step 6 – Stick pages together with glue stick and your book is complete
Now you and your dolls can curl up with a good book or make a few for your dolls to wrap and give to each other as gifts!
Thanks again to Liese of DollPlaySA.com for making today’s doll play activity!
