Happy Friendship Day, Happy Sisters Day and Happy National Doll Day!! In celebration of these three related but different celebrations today, we are going to make bracelets for our dolls for the Day of Play activity.
Doll bracelets are just so easy to make! You can make them out of ribbon, elastic, duck tape, string or really just about anything you can tie or attach around your doll’s wrist. I made two bracelets using elastic and beads that spell out BFF for Chrissa and Ivy this morning. Measure the elastic around your doll’s wrist and leave yourself extra length to tie it off. Thread your beads on the elastic and finish off.
Ivy and Chrissa love their new bracelets! It will remind the of each other while Ivy is on vacation and Chrissa stays home with the other dolls. You can tell it has been a hot summer – all our grass is brown! Gahhhh!!
Ivy and Chrissa are having a last minute conversation in the comfy chair in the playroom before Ivy gets packed into some luggage for the trip.
How are you going to celebrate Friendship/Sisters/Doll Day today?
