Ahoy matey! Are your dolls ready for some pirate fun today? Today’s activities were inspired by this adorable Pirate Outfit from MyPinkPlanet.com who also happens to be our featured sponsor today. With a little creativity you can get your dolls in the pirate mood – just think, skirts, layered or frilly tops, a hat with a big feather in it – optional, an eye patch maybe, or just lots of necklaces and bracelets – take inspiration from your favorite pirate movies.
And what would a Day of Doll Play be without a printable? Print out today’s activity sheet to make up pirate names for all of your dolls (mine ended up being Tall Brow Bonnie), make a pirate hat or two, cut out an eye patch and color a mini pirate puppet.

I’d love to hear what you came up with for your dolls’ pirate names! And of course if you make the hat or dress your dolls up in pirate outfits I’d love to see photos and will feature them on this post!
I’ll leave you with a few pirate words… Ahoy, avast, arrrgh, sea dog, jolly roger, walk the plank, shiver me timbers and me hearty.

firstie!
Arrh, me grandpa would love this
Thirdie! OMG! This is just soo cute!
this is so cute!!!
cool but how do you make the outfit?
Megan – since pirates wear all sorts of things, I would suggest looking in your collection and seeing how you could mix and match to come up with a pirate kind of look.
Felicity’s clothes work great for piratey clothes.
I’m thinking Captain Mara Brook’n'bones. The rest of the crew will be named when I think of good puns for them.
Lena – you are right – Felicity and Elizabeth have some great pieces that can be mixed and matched to make pirate outfits. I like your pirate name.
This is soooo cute! I can’t wait to see my little dolls as pirates!
I love that costume!
Char – When will the Day 6 Day of Doll play come out?
Soon….
Arrrrrrr……. lol
