You all have been asking for musical instruments for your dolls so today we are making a super easy doll sized electronic keyboard (piano) using a shoe box.
Julie plays the electric keyboard in her band – Julie and the Dolls – and she is in her studio practicing by herself right now. Our keyboard was made with a discarded shoe box, fun foam, felt aluminum foil and stick on fun foam letters. However, you can use pretty much whatever you have on hand to make your own.
Step 1 – Start by turning a shoe box on its side. If you use a shoe box for adult size feet it will be the right height for your 18″ dolls. Remove the top.
Step 2 – Cut a piece of white fun foam, cardboard or felt that is 8 – 1/2″ wide by 3″ tall. Mark lines with a black marker every 1/2″ across the white.
Step 3 - Glue the white keyboard onto the box against the open edge of the box.
Step 4 – Cut strips of black fun foam or felt that are 1/3″ wide by 1-1/2″ long and glue them as shown above onto the keyboard.
Step 5 – Add aluminum foil for speakers and a red power button on top. Decorate with fun foam stickers or markers and your doll is ready to perform!

I have a big problem everyone. Okay remember when I said I found a brand new Feliciy doll. Well she is coming home today. When she comes she needs some new outfits. So my mom said we could order from American Girl right away. The problem is that I was just browsing around when I saw the cutest outfit from Maplea. I don’t know how you spell it. But the Canadian place. So now I am torn between 3 casual outfits. The Ruffled Hoodie Outfit from American Girl, The True Style Outfit also from American Girl or the Manitoba Wildflowers outfit from Maplea. I can’t get all of them because I only need one casual outfit. What should I do?
