Tonner Toys City Girls were one of my favorite new doll lines that I discovered last year at Toy Fair, so it was fitting that my favorite, Taxi! Billy was the doll I chose to take with me to Toy Fair this year. The City Girls are a junior or beginner collectible fashion doll line created by Jason Reilly and Robert Tonner of Tonner Toys. The City Girls each have a unique back story, fabulous clothes and are very poseable!

The back story for Taxi! Billy is that she owns Billy’s Buttercream Bakery which is one of the hottest bakeries in the City. There are always lines around the block waiting for her scrumptious desserts. She’s sweet, soft spoken and puts love into everything she bakes. A large portion of the proceeds from sales of her cookbook go to charities around the City. Billy comes fully dressed in a bolero jacket, tunic dress, belt, leggings, purse and high heeled bootlets. (description according to Tonner Doll) Billy has been hard at work in her bakery today!
Billy was the lucky doll to join me on my trip to Toy Fair this year! While we were there we stopped in to say hi to the Tonner team and Billy got some new “ink” from designer Jason Reilly and Mr. Robert Tonner, himself! The other girls are slightly jealous!
She also brought back a new pet – we’ll call her Lucy!
For Billy’s activity sheet you get her trading card, two mini posters, and a word search! Download the activity sheet as a PDF file.
I will be sharing photos of the new fashion packs and deluxe sets planned for the City Girls this year in a post coming up soon!
