One of our favorite doll lines from last year are the very fun, super poseable Little Miss Matched Girls. The group of four dolls were created by Tonner Toys for the Little Miss Matched company and were sold at LittleMissMatched.com and ToysRUs. Unfortunately the license for the line was not renewed and the line has been retired. Today we are focusing on Sporty Girl who we named Missy after famous Olympic swimmer, Missy Franklin. Our Missy is always on the move has a sporty sense of style as her name would indicate.

Before Missy can go for a run on this beautiful spring afternoon, she has to stretch. Her posability makes her a lot of fun to play with and take on adventures!
More stretching! The Little Miss Matched clothes are designed to be mixed and matched in endless combinations. Her jacket is reversible, too.
Missy’s favorite trail to run includes a trip past my beloved bucket of phlox that are in full bloom right now.
Run complete – now it is time to hang around a bit 😉
If you are lucky enough to have found a Little Miss Matched Girl, they are good quality. Their hair takes a little extra care and I usually keep our LMM girls’ hair braided to prevent tangling or frizzing.
If you are still looking for an LMM doll to add to your collection, keep an eye out at places like Tuesday Morning, Marshall’s and TJ Maxx – you never know what you will find at those places and there is always eBay, too.
