One of our favorite small doll lines to come out this year is the fashion inspired La Dee Da dolls. They are 12″ tall with big eyes, big heads, sometimes even bigger hair, but they have a sense of fun and creativity about them that is sweet and well thought out. Dee, the “leader of the pack” is in the spotlight today.

From the manufacturers description – Meet Dee, the ultimate City Girl. She and her BFFs started a fashion label called La Dee Da. This outfit is inspired by her hometown. It’s anything but boredinary – you can change it up. Swap her flower and bow. Wear the skyline dress as an A-line or a poufy bubble skirt. Switch from leggings to leg warmers in a snap. Style her shimmery red hair, and have a blast designing your own dee-licious looks.

You can see photos of her dress being worn different ways in the post we did when we first got Dee (read here).

Dee is so much fun to play with and to photograph. This is from a photo shoot we did last summer with Dee and her friend Tylie. They really are dainty little dolls that are fun to pose, but I would still recommend being gentle with them.  They can share clothes with each other, but I haven’t really found another doll line that can easily swap with them.

La Dee Da City Girl Dee

From the Statue of Liberty inspired eye makeup to the taxi earrings, the team at Spin Master has had a lot of fun with this line.

If you haven’t played on the La Dee Da website yet, go – it is so much fun!
