Tonner Toys City Girl Houston is a Personal Shopper with a fabulous sense of style! When I first saw these dolls at Toy Fair last year I just fell in love with them. They are considered to be a beginner collector doll – kind of a lead in to Ellowyne Wilde and classic Tonner fashion dolls. They sell for about $35 and are very poseable. I happen to LOVE Houston for her coloring – her mint eyes and deep brown hair with her darker complexion are just gorgeous. This doll is seriously photogenic!

Houston is making her fashion runway debut wearing the Networking outfit. While Houston really looks good in everything, she looks particularly amazing in this shade of green and who doesn’t love sparkle, too. The one issue I have with the Tonner Toys City Girls is that while they are super poseable, getting them to stand is just about impossible! I was able to get her to stand like this very briefly and she is leaning against the backdrop (which is from My Doll’s Life) .
Houston is trying to show you that she can bend at her upper body, too. Don’t you just love her painted fingernails and toe nails – it’s the little things…
Back in her dressing room after the show, I can’t tell if Houston is trying to get me to serve her a cup of tea or if she is hailing a cab 😉
Another look at what a beautiful face Houston has. I took this photo and put it through some of the filters in Picmonkey.com until I got the artistic look I wanted.
Tomorrow’s Doll of the Day post will also be in the evening as I am chaperoning a field trip tomorrow.
