1. I Heart American Girl
Gabby at I Heart American Girls recently got back from the American Girl store in Denver and posted a video of her trip. She has been writing at I Heart American Girls for 2 years and there are so many great photos of her dolls throughout the site.
2. Never Grow Up: A Mom’s Guide to Dolls and More
I love seeing photos of doll spaces! At Never Grow Up, she just posted a long photo collection of her latest doll spaces – not only are they super cute, but she showcases other dolls besides American Girl. Never Grow Up is a blog by a Mom of three (welcome to the club – both Karen and I are Moms of three kids) who rediscovered her love of dolls and now shares her photos, reviews and insight.
3. Ava Says…
The super cute design of the Ava Says blog is what made me stop and take a look, but once I saw her photos of Ava traveling through Argentina I needed to see more. The blog is all about the adventures of Ava and her owner – a American girl living in South America. And, if you take a look around the site a little more you will find she has created some fun printable word searches and other goodies you might like.

Char, how do we recommend sites for Spotlight Sites to you and can we recommend our own sites?
Congrats to everyone. I LOVE the pictures from the I heart American Girl. They look so professional.
You can send me a note at share@dolldiaries.com to suggest a Spotlight site and yes it can be your own. A few tips though – I am probably not going to spotlight a site that only has one or two posts on it, or is messy, poorly written or is just an “account” on some service I have never heard of. But if you have been writing and sharing photos of dolls on your site for a while and the site looks like you are actively participating in the site, then I’m sure I will spotlight it eventually. You all are very talented and I am so impressed with some of the sites the Doll Diaries readers have built.
