Sorry for not having a Spotlight Site post last Sunday, but I think you all will understand when I say I just didn’t feel like posting anything on 9/11 and I spent the day with my children at an event to honor those who died that day as well as those who keep us safe everyday.

By now you know that each week, I will pick anywhere from one to three sites that have something new, interesting, or otherwise noteworthy and share them with you. If your site is a spotlight site, be sure to grab the code at the bottom of the post so you can show off your fabulous-ness! If you know of a site that we just have to feature, be sure to let us know in the comments or send an email to share@dolldiaries.com.

This week’s Spotlight Sites are:

1. Beth Kruse Custom Creations

American Girl Theme DIY Labels for Soda or Waterbottles

Beth Kruse Custom Creations posted a cute wrap up of her daughter’s 7th birthday party that she did using an American Girl theme. I love the way she printed out wrappers for the soda cans with each of the American Girl doll faces on it and they invited the dolls, too. You can also see some of the new American Girl Crafts birthday party supplies in action in some of her photos. If you are looking to do an American Girl themed party, bookmark that post because it is jammed full of great ideas. What a lucky birthday girl!!

2. American Girl Friends

Sassy Doll Dresses

Anne at American Girl Friends was the winner of our giveaway for a gift certificate to Sassy Doll Creations. Anne picked out two adorable dresses and then was kind enough to do a photoshoot of what she got so we could all see it, too. Great choices Anne and I bet your dolls love their new dresses, too!

3. American Girl Playground

Priya at American Girl Playground gets the spotlight award this week for two reasons – one, she just moved her site from the free Weebly platform over to a real WordPress site, complete with her own domain name. Yeah, Priya! That is a big step and shows that you have a passion for writing about your dolls. Also, I LOVE her doll dining post – it would make Karen proud.
