I just can’t get over how many great websites there are for those of us who love dolls! One of the new regular features here on DollDiaries is going to be our weekly Spotlight Site post. I will pick anywhere from one to three sites that have something new, interesting, or otherwise noteworthy and share them with you. If your site is a spotlight site, be sure to grab the code at the bottom of the post so you can show off your fabulous-ness!
1. MADE: Pieces for Reese
Pieces for Reese features some really cool handmade furniture and goodies for dolls. Did you see the ironing board for Kit? Too cute! It is the perfect project for a Daddy, adoring Aunt, or girl wanting to challenge her own DIY skills.
2. Liberty Jane Clothing Blog
The creators of the super cute doll clothes patterns, Liberty Jane Clothing, also have a blog. I love the YouTube video they made last week showing you how to make a girl sized mannequin from duct tape! Now that is creative!
3. Australian Girl Fan
Australian Girl? Yep! Australia has its own line of dolls just for the girls of “Down Under!” Britt is a true fan and I love her tips on taking “school pictures” of your dolls. The pointers are perfect for taking pictures of any dolls – regardless of brand.
Congrats to this week’s Spotlight Sites!Feel free to grab your badge using the code below.
PS – Rumor has it there is something exciting happening at American Girl tomorrow!! Any guesses? Pictures of the dolls so they can be pre-ordered? Or something bigger?
