Happy New Year!! With all of the excitement of Isabelle’s debut, things have been a bit busy here this week, but I curled up with my coffee and a blanket this morning to catch up on my doll reading and have some good posts to share with you.

Emily from The Toy Box Philosopher never, ever disappoints me in her incredibly detailed reviews and endless photos of her dolls! She recently reviewed Patience, from Tonner’s Wilde Imagination division and of course she reinforced what I already knew – Patience is on my short list of dolls I must add to my collection this year! I am even more excited about visiting the Tonner booth at Toy Fair next month to get a closer look at Patience for myself.

Have you seen the movie Frozen yet? Are you totally hooked on it’s songs like “Let It Go?” Jaclyn used Frozen as her inspiration for this beautiful crochet dress she made for Caroline who is playing the part of Elsa. So, Jaclyn, any chance you want to share your pattern? I’d love to make one for our dolls!

Have you read the next issue of The Doll Mag yet? Bella and Lulu are just so creative and really do a great job putting together their e-Magazine each month – it is so professional and well thought out. Two thumbs up from us!

With all the snow that has fallen around the country this past week, we may all need snowshoes before you know it. Jen at Wren*Feathers got Maplelea Saila for Christmas and quickly started making things for her – like snowshoes. You can see what else she has made and get the pattern for snowshoes for your own dolls at Wren*Feathers.

In case you missed it, Laura shows you how to make this stunning dance tutu by dyeing some feather trim using Rit Dye. So incredibly creative!

So, now I need to go finish uploading all the Reader Photo Contest entries (you have until midnight tomorrow night to get them in), try to reign in the mess that has become the doll room, take some photos and prep more awesome posts for you. If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, I will probably post a few impromptu photos just for fun, too.

Have a great day,
