Doll Diaries Picks for the Week Ending September 7

What have you been reading this week? Anything good? A few of my picks this week include a feature that made the local news!

How cool is this? A local elementary school teacher has been using the American Girl historical characters and their stories in a club setting to teach kids about history. I would have loved to have had something like this at the elementary school when my girls were younger. Read the entire story.

Our friends at Tonner Doll are having a really cool Pinterest Scavenger Hunt and there are two Tonner dolls up for grabs! You need to hurry as there are only a few days left in the contest. Get all the details here.

At Jen’s Companion Doll she did the most gorgeous end of summer photo shoot with her Kidz ‘n Cats dolls. These dolls have such amazingly beautiful faces and she captured their expressions and personalities so beautifully!

Doll Maxi Skirts

Over at the, KC has been busy. She made matching maxi skirts for her daughters and their American Girl dolls that turned out ever so cute! You must go take a look at all the photos. Adorable.

Jeneca at American Girl Imagination did a cool photo story featuring Molly and her Red Balloon. I love all the photo effects she included in the story!

And on Zulily today there are all sorts of 18″ doll goodies from The Queen’s Treasures (including the new Shoppes), rooms from American Doll Room, furniture from Laurent Doll, Terri Lee dolls and lots of clothes and accessories – go check it out!

Have a great day!
