Good morning and happy first weekend of Spring! I am enjoying my coffee and have been catching up on all my favorite doll blogs this morning. Here are a few of my favorite posts.

In case you haven’t visited Anna’s site, Doll-It-Up.com lately, she has a really fun giveaway going on right now. Stop over and enter to win a doll sized backpack from Mammoth Cave Kentucky!

Confessions of a Doll Collector’s Daughter, Ashley, recently did a review on the new Maru doll, Tanya and her photos are just gorgeous.

Meanwhile in science class… Small Dolls in a Big World has a three part photostory about the science project – so much creativity – I LOVE it!

Have you ever been to an American Girl Fashion Show fundraiser? They are so much fun and each year they have a special limited edition outfit just for the fashion shows.  We didn’t get to go to the one in Northern VA recently because it conflicted with Seussical, but All Things Doll went (I’m not sure if it was the NoVa one or another one) and got this year’s souvenir outfit. I just love the sweater with the ruffle! Too cute!

I was speaking with a friend this week and one of the things we were talking about was how doll play/interaction evolves over time. I LOVE that so many of you are keeping up with doll play and using it as a way to develop your creative writing skills, your photography and videography skills, your creative thinking and  also your design skills! This photostory from Fun with AG Fan is just so detailed that I know a whole lot of time and creativity went into it! Have you ever played Apples to Apples?

So, now it is your turn!! What was your favorite doll related read this week? I’m going to challenge you to pick a blog post that is NOT your own – think of it as giving one of your doll community peers a big HIGH FIVE!  Leave a link to it in the comments below.
