I hope everyone has had a great week! I still have more Toy Fair reports to post and will try to get more of them up over the weekend, but first, it’s time to share five of my favorite posts this week.
Emily from The Toybox Philosopher is by far one of my most favorite bloggers – I just like her style – but her most recent post about her trip to AGNY with her niece and a review of mini Kaya and mini Rebecca has to be one of her best yet. It may be the additional commentary from her niece that makes it so special – I don’t know, but as usual her photos are amazing and the detail in her review is just fabulous. So, go read all about it!
Ashley at Confessions of a Doll Collector’s Daughter went to Toy Fair and was able to visit with so many brands. One that is of great interest to me is the One World Doll Project – many of you will recognize the name behind it – Stacy Irby – and if you take a good look at the dolls faces they may look a little familiar, too. Mr. Robert Tonner collaborated with the team on the face sculpt and if you ask me, they have a lot of that Little Miss Matched sass to them – that is probably why I really like them!
While we are on the topic of Tonner, Once Upon a Doll Collection has a great post about this cutie – Ann Estelle. She is a Tonner Mary Engelbreit doll and how cute is that sweet little face?
Can you guess which AG doll this is? Would you believe it is Emily? Carrot and Claire shows you how to bring Emily from the 40s to the NOW with this simple hair tutorial.
Small Dolls in a Big World has a sweet photostory this week featuring a very modern day Kaya hanging out with her friend Isabelle. Too much fun! And great photos, too.
