For today’s craft I wanted to share a fun and easy way to make your dolls their own outdoor Chaise Lounge Chair using items you may already have in your craft box at home.
For today’s craft you will need:
- 1 egg carton
- 2 empty small boxes of cereal or similar sized boxes
- glue or glue gun
- scissors
- paper
- popsicle sticks
- pencil
- tape
Step 1- Tape the lids of your cereal boxes down
Step 2- Tape the boxes together as shown in the photo above
Step 3- Cover your boxes and your egg carton in paper and tape the ends shut. You can use your pencil to draw a line where to cut on your paper so that you do not have too much overhang on your paper.
B-Glue the cereal boxes to your egg carton and let it dry. This will be the base for your chaise lounge chair. * A glue gun will work and dry much faster then craft glue but you will need an adults help with a glue gun.
Step 5- Add a line of glue on your chair or on your popsicle stick and lay your popsicle sticks down along the egg carton form. Continue adding popsicle sticks until you get to the bottom of your carton.
Step 6- Add more popsicle sticks to the cereal box chair back as shown. Let dry.
