Doll Craft Make a Bedside Table with Drawers for Dolls

Make a Bedside table with drawers for your dolls

For today’s post I thought it would be fun to show you how you can turn two boxes into a bedside table of drawers for your dolls and decorate them with duck tape to dress up your dolls room.

supplies for doll table

For today’s craft you will need:

  • 2 All bran bar boxes (or two boxes of similar size)
  • 1 pipe cleaner
  • Scissors (or a box cutter/exacto knife with a parents help)
  • Duck tape
  • A ruler
  • A hole punch

make doll dresser

Step one - Tape the open lids of your box closed

Step two - Measure your box with a ruler and find the middle of your boxes. Make a line and repeat this step on each of the four sides.

Step three - Cut your box into two as shown in the photo above, *You may need a parent’s help for this step.

Step four - Repeat steps 1-3 on the other box.

Step five – Tape one of your now four boxes together as shown in the photos above. The remaining two boxes will become your drawers. If you have cut your boxes perfectly they will fit in each other as shown, if not you may need to trim the “drawer boxes” slightly, do not worry if they are not perfect, your tape will hide that.

Step six - Begin covering your drawers and side table with your duck tape as shown in the photos above. Work in small strips and layer your tape over each side.

Step seven – Cut a pipe cleaner in half, these pieces will become your drawer pulls. Set them a side.

Step eight – Use your hole punch to punch two holes one inch away from each other on the front of your drawer, repeat on the other drawer.

Step nine- Bend your pipe cleaner into a U shape and feed the ends through your drawer. On the inside of the drawer bend the ends of your pipe cleaner together and tape them down with a piece of your duck tape. Replace the drawers in your table and your bedside table of drawers is ready to use!

I hope you enjoyed today’s craft! I look forward to sharing more craft ideas with you next week.
