As part of Julie’s birthday celebration, we have a fun 70s inspired craft from our favorite 70s girl – Sharry! Back when Sharry and I were kids in the 70s, like Julie, it seemed like every girl we knew had a baton and we would spend hours out in the back yard learning how to twirl it, toss it, and make up little routines with it. Baton twirling is still alive and well but just not as popular as it was when we were kids.
Sharry’s dolls are all practicing their baton twirling routine and they are doing a good job of staying together – good work girls!
You can make your dolls’ batons using items you probably already have on hand and Sharry’s video instructions:
Thanks Sharry for teaching us how to make baton’s for our dolls!
