  10. Sierra says:

    This is precious!

  11. Lauren says:

Ruby- I agree! I really like the Royal family too, Kate is my favorite though. She is so classy and elegant and wears really nice clothes. She just seems like she would be a really nice person.

This is exciting! I plan to take pictures…maybe for the Sunday Showcase, to show my dolls celebrating HRH Prince George Alexander Lois. I heard that they were going to call him Gal for short…that’s cute, isn’t it?

Also, Diana, WOW! Your royal nursery looks absolutely AMAZING! It’s all so real. I’d like to have a look at Kate’s decorating job on Prince George’s nursery. Another great nursery, was Reneesme’s in “Breaking Dawn Part 2″ Since when have nurseries become so fashionable?

  12. Rachel B. says:

Nina~me too. :) I’m not too thrilled about the name (and especially not the nickname), but it’s not my baby, and I suppose it’s their decision. If he grows up to be as good a man as his father, I’ll be satisfied.
Diana, your nursery really is amazing!

  25. Ella says:

No offence but why do the Americans follow our royalty? Just wondering

  26. misspiggy=awesome says:

I recommend Caroline, DollCutie. For kids 9 and over, she is an amazing doll. I spritz her hair with water and finger curl it to keep it nice. Her meet outfit is great… if you like pink. XD Her eyes are beautiful! The shoes are very versatile-at least, in my largely pink collection. I like pink. XD Her stockings are basically white knee socks. They are really nice. Overall, not so great for a younger girl’s first doll, (or for a younger girl, period! You should see Nicki’s hair after I got her in kindergarten) but she is beautiful if you can handle the hair.

Also, my dolls are babysitting a baby this week! Her name is Olivia Grace. They like camp so far!
    peace, love, llamas,

  27. Maggie says:

Such a cute royal nursery! I love the little banner that says prince george! :D

  28. N says:

@Ella- I don’t know. Maybe because America doesn’t have anything like it and therefore it intrigues them?

  29. cordelia says:

Diana, the nursery you have created is adorable. All of the details are just perfect. I know from an earlier post that you said that you had made the baby doll’s clothing. Did you make the cradle and its linens as well?

I plan to take Katherine and Rose out of camp for the afternoon to a nearby tea room where we will have “High Tea” and celebrate the birth of Prince George and all babies. The dolls are very excited.

  30. Lauren says:

Cordelia- That sounds so sweet! Katherine and Rose are delightful dolls!

  31. Diana Gash says:

Cordelia, yes I made the bedding for the cradle. The linens, a little pillow and the netting overhead. It was very simply. The cradle was from the Chico mini baby collection and it was pink so I new I had to cover it, so for a royal baby it had to be white satin with blue ribbons. I put the cradle on top of a candle holder stand which I had found at Goodwill. This gave the cradle height. The dresser was from Goodwill as welll as the rocking chair. I had most of everything in the picture, I just need to get the material for the background to cover a foam board from the dollar store.

You would be surprise what a litle creativity and do. Thank you.

  32. sabrina says:

    Darling! Too cute!

  33. Maddy says:

What doll is this? She is PRETTY!
