Thanks to Lena for tracking down the link for this! It looks like American Girl is planning a launch this summer of an online world for girls and their dolls called Innerstar University.
It looks like the new series of books (due out late summer) includes the titles:
- Braving the Lake (American Girl)
- Fork in the Trail (American Girl)
- Taking the Reins (American Girl)
- A Girl’s Best Friend (American Girl)
As always, we will keep you posted as more becomes available.
Luckily,I have a jly doll(that dosen’t look like me,but who says that jly HAS to look like you? But there are 2 dolls that look like me that I didn’t really notice at first)!
I will be veryyyyyyyyyyyyy unhappy if you have to buy stuff to get stuff!
But I think it will be cool if you can also get points or something by reading AG books and taking the “AG book test” or something!
P.S.I don’t think they’l make lots of stuff for Rebecca now that she has most of the things from the book. Maybe the outfit Rebecca wears in the cover of Changes for Rebecca,I don’t know.

oh, they haven’t stopped with rebecca, there are still a lot of accessories i think they still need to make her, and for the record, they may finish with the clothes from her books, but all, or most of the other historicals get clothes that aren’t featured their books

I actually hate the name Just Like You, I liked American Girl Today better. The reason I said that is because the JLY/AGT’s don’t look like everyone. There’s not one that looks like me, fo example. I’m not saying they have to look like you, in fact, I applaude that you have dolls that don’t look like you.
This looks awesome! It’s totally reminding me of the AG Club from a few years ago! I just hope you don’t have to pay $20 for a membership again…my mom used to buy it for me, but this time, I would probably have to use my own money. (IF there is a membership fee) And I’m excited about the books, even though I don’t know what they’re about yet!

Ok I go to the AG place in Chicago every summer and I was on the website looking at the events and there was one that said There is something new coming to americangirl this summer and you and your doll will get to be apart of it!

Yes Lena I klnow that but YOU said that most likely they WILL come out with a new doll this summer because That is when Rebecca came out. Besides it was just a guess.
And if you’ve read any of my posts for the past month, I said I’m doubting it. We’ve had no info what so ever on her (and we’ve had tons about Beckie by this time last year, including pictures).

Well Lena I still think we are getting a new doll this summer……………………it is still more that 2 months away from when it said that and besides I dont think there would be much of anyhting out this early so I still think it is possible but that is my opinion

Lanie arrived, she’s precious. I love her little shoes. Rebecca’s summer dress doesn’t look so bad in person, but still its a bit ruffly for me. I do love the hat though.

Yes, Kit the doll. Each historical has a birthday specified in cannon, either in the books or by AG.

Yes, she does, but its day changes a little each time. Its usually around August 23.
So Kaya doesn’t know when her birthday is, but AG does. That’s kind of funny.

Hi guys! I don’t know if you guys know this(probably you do)but AG got some new outfits for Lanie and bitty, they came out today! Lanie’s new outfit is so adorable! It’s the first time I’ve seen AG actually use not that much purple and pink. The little yellow owl t-shirt is gorgeous!
