My daughter got Chrissa for her birthday and immediately started reading the first Chrissa book. I was so impressed at how she and Chrissa bonded and that she could tell me every little detail of the book, that I decided to get her Chrissa’s warm up outfit and the second book, Chrissa Stands Strong as a reward.
The outfit and the book arrived today. The outfit looks so good with Chrissa’s blue eyes and hair color. There is the red visor that has Edgewater embroidered on it, an aqua blue tank that says Edgewater Swim Team, lightweight red hoodie jacket, white shorts and the dark gray flip flops. I am very happy with all of it, how it fits, and how it was made. I hope American Girl makes a girl size version of this outfit eventually. It looked cute on the girls in the movie, An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong – when my daughter saw they had the outfit she immediately wanted to know if there was a girl sized version.
And as far as the book goes? She has already run off to her favorite reading spot with it.

Hi! omg, there is this video on, um, you tube I think that my grandpa showed me of the Jay Leno show at christmas time one year. Its sooooooooo amazing! This guy he plays “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” with these balls. He goes slow at first than he goes really fast! On U-tube type in, idk, “Jay Leno Christmas” and maybe you’ll find the video!

Priscilla—I got Nellie a few years ago; actually I think it was in 2004 or 2005. Way before she was retired, though. I got Mia last year in March when I went to the AG Place in NY for Spring break. I got Luna in 2007. Rose was my first doll and I got her in….probably 2003.
And all the Samantha’s on eBay I’ve seen have gone for at LEAST $100, even if they start very low. Even b4 she was retired, none of the Sams on eBay were less than her original cost. Plus I don’t really want Samantha, just I wish I had gotten some more of her outfits 4 Nellie, because she has like nothing, poor girl. All my today dolls have plenty of clothes, but I decided Nellie should only wear her time period stuff, so she doesn’t have as much.
The AG pets I have are: Coconut for Rose and Licorice for Nellie.
The AGs I want are: 1) Sonali, 2) Julie & Ivy (I know its two, but I want the Best Friends collection…)
I’m saving up 4 Sonali rite now because she is only here for one year, but Julie and Ivy will be here longer, so I can get them whenever.
I decided I don’t want Rebecca, but I want some of her outfits 4 Nellie, because she is only 10 years before Rebecca. I don’t even know what any of her stuff looks like yet, but I’m sure there’ll be something I’ll like.
