If you have been following the adventures of my Ellowyne dolls, you know that Elle (an Ellowyne Dark Days) thinks she is the stuff. Last week I introduced you to Lily (Woeful Romance Ellowyne) and Elle seemed quite irritated with this gorgeous, new girl. Anyhow, in this week’s adventures, Elle and Lily are bonding – they think they are in Paris on a shopping trip.

After agreeing to let Elle borrow her dress, Lily does some jewelry shopping. Elle is wearing part of Lily’s dress – she has her own original black tank top on, Lily’s skirt, she tied the tights that came with the outfit over her shoulders like a sweater and wrapped the belt around her wrist for a bracelet.

And Elle shows Lily the new perfume she found. Something tells me these two are going to get along just fine. They both seem to have expensive tastes. What they don’t know is that there are two new girls on their way – all the way from the Tonner Convention. You’ll have to check in next Wednesday to see who our new additions will be.

One of our reader’s husbands was recently in London and was kind enough to take some photos of the My London Girl store in the Westfield London Shopping Center and he brought back some great goodies for his girls, too. Thanks to Michele and Angelia for sharing these great photos with us.

I think what really makes My London Girl stand apart is their clothes and accessories! Check out these adorable UGG style boots for dolls. Seriously – how cute are they?

The My London Girl outfits come in garment bags so you can easily keep all components of an outfit together and keep the outfit looking nice. BRILLIANT! There is also a girl sized My London Girl t-shirt which I think is so neat.

The last few days the American Girl dolls have had all the attention – between the announcement of the new historical character Caroline Abbott to the arrival of McKenna and the making of her vault – but now it’s time to focus your attention on something truly stunning – Ellowyne Wilde!

One of our frequent contributors, Madelon, treated herself to an Ellowyne for Mother’s Day. She got Check on Me – who has blonde rooted hair and painted green eyes. I look forward to seeing more photos of this beauty as she settles into her new home.

A few weeks ago Charlie (also short for Charlene like me) of DollsBehavingBadly.com mentioned to me that she had an Ellowyne doll still in its box for sale on eBay. One look at Nothing Springs to Mind and I just had to have her – well, actually Natalie had been raving about how pretty this retired Ellowyne was so, technically, Nothing Springs to Mind is for Natalie when she gets older.

We named Nothing Springs to Mind, Nicolette. She was kind enough to pose out near my garden this morning after it rained all last night. She was checking to see if the Daylilies are going to bloom any time soon.

A while back I fell in love with this FAO.com exclusive Ellowyne called Woeful Romance. She has long black hair and teal glass eyes. She is seriously STUNNING. She didn’t like being outside near the damp flowers so I posed her inside with my orchids instead.

After posing with the orchids, Woeful Romance, who we call Lilian (Lily for short) was ready to change into her favorite t-shirt, pull her hair up in to a ponytail and relax. Isn’t she just gorgeous?

Back on the shelf, Elle (Dark Days Ellowyne) is a little concerned. She is the self proclaimed queen of this shelf and the Director of Doll Relations, however, Lily’s beauty is undeniable and she is a little worried that Lily may be after her titles. Watch your back Lily, the other girls will tell you, Elle is not to be trusted

Today is such an exciting day in my world – the Olympic flame was lit earlier today in Greece marking to official countdown to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. England’s own Matilda is doing a little time travel from her Tudor era to now so she can get in on the excitement – after all, the Olympics will be in her home country.

Chrissa: “Ummm, Matilda, what are you doing?”

Matilda replied, “Just practicing my balance move for my big routine on the balance beam – you know, for the Olympics that are being held in my home country!”

Chrissa – “Well, you have 78 days left to get it right because the Olympic flame was lit in Greece today. I’d help you, but my sport is swimming.”

Matilda: “Maybe your friend McKenna can help me get ready?”

Chrissa: “McKenna? Haven’t seen her. You might have to talk with Ivy instead.”

Matilda: “Well, Elle told me…”

Chrissa: “What did she tell you? And do you actually believe her?”

Matilda: “She mumbled something about … oh, she was probably just teasing me!”

Chrissa: “Oh, by the way, where did you get your outfit? That doesn’t look like something a Tudor girl would wear.”

Matilda: “Blair (Going in Circles) let me borrow it. It is really a Journey Girls outfit so it fits me great! You could probably borrow the shirt, but there is no way you could get the shorts over that American Girl booty of yours.”

Chrissa: “So what is Blair wearing now?”

Matilda: “She is wearing that great polka-dot dress from Carpatina that I had on earlier. Take a look – that girl can make anything look amazing!”

As you can tell, I am getting a little excited for the summer Olympics!! And I wonder what Elle told Matilda and I wonder if it had anything to do with Elle working on the computer last week?

It is not just me who can. not. wait. for the Summer Olympics in London to begin in July, but Blair – our Going in Circles Ellowyne Wilde – is ready! She did a quick photo shoot for us this morning and here are my two favorite photos.

Blair borrowed an outfit from the Journey Girls and I just pinned the white shorts in the back and used a piece of ribbon for a belt for the shirt. She loves her high heeled sandals so she kept them on (and the Journey Girl sandals that came with the outfit do not fit her). The purse is also from the Journey Girl outfit. The Harrods of London background is actually a really pretty tote bag I picked up while I was in London earlier this year and I added a red scarf for her to stand on to bring it all together.

The close up shows you her pretty face and that the top – which is made for 18″dolls – fits like a boatneck on Ellowyne, but it still works. PS – I first noticed this outfit when Elizabeth had one of her Ellowynes wearing it in a photo she posted on Facebook. I just happened to see it at Toys R Us last week and knew the Ellowynes wanted it. The shorts will not fit American Girl dolls but they do fine on the 18″ slimmer body girls.

Have a Wilde Wednesday!

One of our readers, Mia, sent in some photos of her Karito Kids Pita doll who she has renamed Archer. Karito Kids dolls are 21″ tall so they can wear some American Girl clothing but their arms and legs are definitely longer.

Archer is is wearing her meet outfit. Mia thinks Archer/Pita is a really pretty, good quality doll. She has a serene facial expression and soft hair.

I went to the Karito Kids website, and while everything is still there, it looks like you can only buy the Karito Kids through Amazon right now and I’m not even sure if they are still making the dolls. Does anyone have insight on this? Thanks to Mia for sharing these photos!

I had wanted to get a lot more photography done today, but that was just not how my day went. So, instead, let’s have a little fun with Ellowyne! First, this is my original Ellowyne Wilde doll – Dark Days – who I named Elle. She is wearing the top and the jacket from her from friend Ellowyne Raw Edges who I have named Aine. The computer is from American Girl as is the mug.

Hi, its Elizabeth again. My absolutely gorgeous Plaid to Meet You Ellowyne by Wilde Imagination has arrived! I have named her Sara. She is a wigged Ellowyne which means I can take her hair off and put another wig on for a completely different look. So, in the following pictures remember, it is always this same doll, Sara, that you are seeing. However, I bought her multiple wigs.

Here is Sara in the wig she comes with dressed as Snow White. I couldn’t find an apple for her to hold so she is holding an orange…

And here is Sara wondering whether blondes have more fun…

But wait, what about red heads? Sara certainly thinks having red hair is fun.

Okay, here she is just wondering why I bought a blue wig… I think she’s not so sure about this color… But I think she’s quite cute.

“Oh wow!” says Sara, “Now I look like Shirley Temple! Where are my tap dance shoes?”

This particular wig was on sale so I got it in both black and brown.

“Red-dy” to be a perfect princess? (pun intended) I absolutely love this wig and dress combination! Sara is wearing this outfit and wig right now as she sits at my desk helping me write this post. Of course, by the time you read this post, she is probably wearing something else and doing something else…

I love the curls on this wig. Sara looks like a classic movie star, very stylish and elegant!

The wigs I bought were size 6/7 Monique Gold brand wigs (they sell them for American Girl dolls, too). The Plaid to Meet You doll comes with two velcro dots on her head to hold her wig in place. I was having trouble with the velcro dot on the lower back of her head catching on the hair of the wigs as I was changing them so I very gently took it off leaving just the velcro dot on the top of her head. Her original wig has two velcro dots built into it to match the velcro dots on her head (The Monique Gold brand wigs I bought did not have Velcro inside of them). I haven’t tried her original wig on since I took off the other dot so I’m hoping it will still fit and stay on correctly. However, my doll is mostly going to be wearing her new wigs and not her original one. I understand that she can also wear a size 7/8 wig and it is possible that size might fit her better as it is a bit larger. However I am quite happy with what I got. Each wig change is like having a new doll!
