Our friends at Emily Rose Doll clothes have a REALLY cool new business opportunity brewing – they are introducing Emily Rose at Home Parties. How cool is that? You and your daughter can have friends over to preview and purchase Emily Rose Doll Clothes and Furniture to expand your wardrobe and accessories for your American Girl dolls. Too much fun!

As they get closer to the business launch, Lisa Marie (she’s the force behind Emily Rose) will be hosting some really neat contests. Doll Diaries readers will get EXTRA entries by commenting on this post – 3 extra entries to be exact! However, you have to be 18 to enter. The idea is that the Emily Rose Home Party Network is a great opportunity for Mothers and Daughters.

Here’s how to enter:

1. Go to the Emily Rose at Home blog and watch Lisa Marie’s video about the program.
2. After you watch the video, sign up to get contest details under the video.
3. Then come back to this post and tell me what you think of the Emily Rose at Home Party concept.  This will give you 3 extra entries!

Remember you have to be 18 to enter, but if you are not, you can still tell us what you think of the idea – as long as it is a well thought out and constructive entry.

You have until May 1, 2009 to enter. Go to the contest post at Emily Rose’s Raising American Girls blog for all the contest rules, entry information, etc.

• Pick a product you would like to use as your “sample” – CLARIFICATION – this does NOT have to be an Emily Rose product – any doll outfit you already have or something similar will work.
• Take a photograph of the “sample” in the style of the Emily Rose product photos (like the soccer outfit or the Brownies uniform).
• Email your photo to customercare@dollsclothes-emilyrose.com no later than midnight January 30, 2009.
• Emily Rose will choose a winner from the entries and announce on Doll Diaries the first week of February.

Once the winner is selected:

• The winner of the contest will start receiving shipments of products from Emily Rose
• The winner will take the photographs as per Emily Rose specifications*
• The winner gets to keep all of the Emily Rose products they receive for free

*The winner will be required to sign a simple agreement with Emily Rose to take a number of product photographs per style (per Emily Rose specifications) within a certain period of time after product receipt in exchange for free product. Additionally, entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
