Camp Doll Diaries Songbook

I can’t think of a better way to finish off a great week of camp than with songs around the campfire. This is an adorable little songbook that could be used around the campfire or anywhere that singing is part of the fun.  I created it for Camp Doll Diaries this week to celebrate the great and amazing outdoors.  Singing while out in nature is almost magical when it is done with a bunch of giggling joyful campers.

You will need to download the printable and cut out the pages.  You can download it free right here! Once you have the pages cut out, you can assemble them by simply stapling them together OR… you can get creative.

I mounted them onto colored card stock with Aleene’s Tacky Spray (LOVE IT).

Then I punched little holes in the corners and tied the mounted pages together with embroidery floss from Coats and Clark (bright colors of course).

I think Nicki is learning the lyrics.  Maybe by the end of camp, she won’t even need to look at the words anymore.

What is your favorite camp song?

  9. Thanks for the inspiraton Laura. I still remember most of the old songs we used to sing when I went to Camp Sharparoon in NY as a kid. When I used to teach after school care and day camp, I taught them the same songs. I evne posted one of them on my blog last year. (and I know the Nut song, but it’s a little different).

Awesome craft. Our girls have been around the campfire every night telling stories and getting to know each other. Having a song book will allow them to have a sing along tonight.
