With the dance costumes all figured out thanks to Anna, the focus has turned to props and costumes for the Once Upon A Fairytale mini-play the girls are putting on at the end of the week.
Isabelle and Alex went through the costume trunk, the garment rack and looked in a supply closet and came up with some possible props for the show.
“Nice goggles, Izzy,” said Alex.
“Well, if I am going to be a mermaid, I need them – I can’t open my eyes under water without them,” giggled Isabelle.
What fairytales do you think these props could be used for? A gift? An umbrella? A few little dancers?
How about a fairytale mash-up of sorts – Tangled meets The Little Mermaid?
“Talking about unique costumes…,um, Alex, what are you supposed to be?” stammered Isabelle.
“I am a very versatile princess – and now that I have my glasses on, I can see that our script still needs LOTS and LOTS of work,” said Alex with just a hint of sass in her voice!
I think these two better get back to work before their campers arrive this afternoon.
Take a look around your own doll/stuffed animal/craft space and get creative! What kind of props can you come up with? Will you have a serious story line for your version of Once Upon a Fairytale or will it be silly?
