Maria is so excited for the Talent Show but she is also sad that another week of Camp Doll Diaries has come to an end! She is going to ask all her friends to write in her Autograph Book so she can remember this week forever. (apologies for the photos – I had to use my other camera and it is just not that great).
Supplies you will need:
- A blank card or folded piece of paper
- Scissors
- Hole punch
- Ribbon or pipecleaner
- Embellishments
Step 1 – Cut the card into 3 sections measuring about 2″ x 3″ and slide them inside of each other.
Step 2 – Punch two holes through the folded end.
Step 3 – Thread a piece of ribbon or pipe cleaner through the holes to hold the book together.
Step 4 – Embellish the cover of the book how ever you want. I just quickly added a Camp Doll Diaries logo, wrote Autographs in marker and added a few Laura Kelly buttons and called it done!
Maria just needs to find her pen and then take her Autograph Book with her to the Talent Show to have her friends sign!
I can’t wait to hear how your Talent Show goes! Next week’s theme is Arts and Crafts in celebration of Saige and her new movie! It is going to be FUN!
Cute and firstie!
That’s so cute! I made Camp Journals last week in a similar style and my dolls have been spending a lot of time drawing and writing in them. I’m definitely going to make autograph books for them!
cute! oh!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to do a doll talent show!
^ and other girls! it would be fun! i am going to AGP seattle a week from monday… it doesn’t make sense to do then; most of the girls would need their parents to drive them, but parents might be at work. if we can, june 31 (a week from sunday) seems like a good day. of course, we need char to approve… it would be fun…
Cute! I will make this when I get home!
cute!!!!
Super Cute!
Today was my last day of school!!!!!!!!
What time will we have the talent show start??
Awesome!
Hi! I am doing AG Around the World this summer based on Doll Travel. It starts today! Moday is when we hit the road-or the air- to Paris or wherever- Check my blog on Monday to find out!! As soon as i get home, Kari and Bella are leading the biggest doll trip EVER!!! Please give me some ideas for countries, activities or themes on my BLOG!!!
I meant Monday not moday and when i get home from BArnes and Noble.
Hannah- Char said we cannot do the firstie thing anymore. This is a really cute post!
ADORABLE!!!!
I love the Camp Doll Diaries logo on the 4th photo!
Vivi – a while back I asked if we could stop with the firstie, secondie thing because it doesn’t really add to the conversation and a lot of readers complained about it.
Kayla – when ever it is convenient for you
Are you going to post pictures of your dolls’ talent show?
Cute!
Sparkie – If I do, we will have to set it up again. We had it set up this morning and took some photos but the lighting wasn’t great and we didn’t really get great photos. Then the dog knocked over the background, one of the dolls fell off the bench and we got frustrated. Maybe we will have to enjoy watching everyone else’s!
Cute! I need to do my talent show still. I’ve been super busy! :/
~Jaclynn~
Julie wanted to sign an autograph for her twinnie, Maria:
2 Groovy
2 Be
________
4 Gotten
Yours ’til Niagra Falls,
Julie Ann Newman
Love it Sharry! Maria wants to sign Julie’s book too.
Oh that’s a cute saying Sharry!
Sara
adollable!
Char did you heat about the new line of Equestria Girls dolls that will be articulated and is supposed to (and imo will be better) with Monster High?
That’s so cute!
The dolls are making this craft for sure. I still have my own autograph book from Brownie Camp from many years ago and looking at it brings back memories of all of us running around collecting autographs.
I really like Julie’s poem, Sharry; in fact one of the Brownies signed my book in the early 60’s with “yours ’til Niagara Falls”!
Ok, Cordelia, this one is for your doll:
2 Ys U R
2 Ys U B
I C U R
2 Ys 4 Me!
(Too wise you are, too wise you be,
I see you are too wise for me!)
Hi Char! I just wanted to let you know that I did my Talent Show! You can see it here:

Thank you, Sharry! This is a great poem and the dolls and I just love it!
Can you mail me camp stuff.
Lauren – I don’t think that would be possible.
