Saige is so excited that the focus of this week is ART and is looking forward the the Camp Art Show at the end of the week. She and her friends are busy in the Art Studio creating a few pieces inspired by Laura Kelly Designs.
Once you download and print your doll sized coloring pages, get creative!! Color them with crayon, marker, gel pens, paint or colored pencils. Then mount them on colored construction paper or cardstock and make them in to art, a card for a friend, posters or what ever creative idea comes to mind! You can get even more kid-sized printables for all occasions at Laura’s web site, too. The ones for July 4th are way cute!
Saige and Diamond are looking at Saige’s frog picture as inspiration before selecting a new project from the pile! I made them colored pencils out of pipe cleaners.
And, you can even make a portfolio for Saige and her friends to carry their art around in using a recycled Q-tip container! Go visit Laura’s blog for the how to – Make a Doll Sized Portfolio from a Q-Tip Container.
In my photos:
- American Girl doll Saige is wearing a Camp Doll Diaries tee made from a Springfield white t-shirt. Her visor is also from Springfield and embellished by me using rainbow ribbon and Laura Kelly buttons.
- The Dolls House (UK) Diamond is wearing a Camp Doll Diaries tank top made by Diana.
- The counter top is the retired American Girl Sweet Treats Bakery Case from 2007.
- The easel is a mini one from the craft store that I painted black.
