Good morning Camp Doll Diaries Campers! I can not believe another amazing summer is coming to a close! Next week we are having our end of summer bash featuring our favorite projects of the summer.
The Camp Doll Diaries Campers have been working on a community service project this week, helping their local shelter collect items for the animals and taking care of them, too.
Ivy and Bree have been volunteering time at the Furry Friends Loving Animal Shelter all summer. They have been cleaning, repairing and generally giving the place a bit of a sprucing up. They are waiting for some of the other campers to bring in the items they have been collecting in the community like new leashes, dog and cat food, some towels and blankets, too.
The Cats Corner got a new rug (made of Kunin felt of course) and fresh new signs thanks to Laura Kelly Designs.
You can now purchase new supplies for your pets and the proceeds will go to help the shelter. There are even forms to fill out when adopting one of the pets (files for the printables below).
Alex has made a new friend. It is a gray kitten she has been wanting for quite a while.
Bree passes her a pencil so she can start filling out the adoption forms.
I also created forms for the doll volunteers to fill out. You do not have to make their community service activity the animal shelter, it is an open ended form so you can create the volunteer/community service activity you want for your dolls to participate in – they can all do something different too.
Don’t forget to send your camp photos to firstname.lastname@example.org – I will be posting the final sets of Camp Memories (from last week and this week) over the weekend!
