Bitty Baby and the Twins

Above is a photo of the three most loved, most played with dolls in our house. Daisy, Penelope and Rose have a very caring and imaginative little mommy who is always dressing them, taking them on adventures, having picnics for them, and making sure they are feeling well.

Penelope (Bitty Baby) was her original doll and she is still the favorite. Penelope has been all over the world and has also been to AGPNY where she helped her mommy pick out Bitty Twins Daisy and Rose.

    My daughter just got her first bitty baby and I was looking online for clothes and accessories for it for her birthdday and was wondering if the twins are the same size? Also, the twins look more like toddlers because of the hair - before I get too invested, I wonder if my daughter would prefer a twin? Do you have any suggestions? She is turning 2.

    Dana - Thanks for stopping in. The twins and Bitty are the same size and wear the same clothes. My daughter got Bitty first and she is her true love. The twins are cute, but they don’t have quite the same appeal. I would start with Bitty and let her get the twins when she gets a bit older.

    I am planning on getting bitty twins for my daughter for Christmas. She will be almost 4 at that time. I am wondering now that you pick your dolls, how to decide. She says for sure she wants one that has brown haired dolllike mom’s, but other then that she goes back in fourth between two brunette’s a brunette and a blonde (like her), and now a boy and a girl. We have a Lee Middleton Blonde that looks a lot like her and she barely plays with it. So I want to make the right decision, since this will be the last time I buy her any “play babies”.

    My daughter was 4 when she picked the twins out. She never even thought of getting a different combination. We love them all.
