One of our readers, Paula, recently went to the American Girl store in Seattle and sent in this trip report.

This was my first visit to the Seattle AG store and while it was brief I managed to get a bunch of gifts, see some of the store, and get some goodies for my collection too. The gift items are already wrapped and gone but Lanie, Kaya, Nellie, and Kanani wanted to show you some of our loot.

American Girl Seattle

Lanie is trying on our new Black Baby-doll T-shirt and Tote-bag. Kaya is watching and wearing a Bitty Twin outfit. Nellie is dressed in our new Bitty Twin Tropical outfit (it fits her beautifully) and is about to try on the capelet from Rebecca’s Dress-up Trunk (I’ve wanted this since it first came out!).

American Girl Seattle

Kanani just waits and patiently holds up our new Seattle AG T-shirt while putting away items from Rebecca’s School Lunch set (they’ve decided to use the Lunch Box for a jewelry case)…Rebecca’s accessories, the Holiday Accessories (like the cute snow globe), Cecile’s and Marie-Grace’s accessories, and their Gala Mask & gloves.

American Girl cups and accessories

I also got a cute 4-piece Cup & Saucer set and a Knit Accessories set. I got Cecile’s Parrot & Cage set for a gift and it is one of the best sets AG has ever produced!! The parrot looks like a parrot, can be taken out and fits on a doll’s hand, and the cage is superbly made and the door opens/closes like actual cages do. By the way, Rebecca’s dress-up trunk is beautiful, is of heirloom quality, but I wouldn’t give it to child younger than eight.

Oh, and I made the Kaya’s and Nellie’s necklaces.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas & a bright and happy New Year.

Thanks so much for sharing this Paula!! And, as always, if you have a trip report, review or doll photo to share, email me at
