Okay, Lena, I guess you are an expert on what is historically accurate. You can slam Elizabeth’s wardrobe all you want. A doll’s outfit doesn’t have to be historically accurate to be aestethically pleasigng. Just don’t discredit her by turning her into a freaky incarnation of Luna Lovegood . . . or something nutty called Chastity or Saoirse.

Sorry, Lena. I guess the thought of making AG dolls into adult comic characters is just a teensy bit unnerving. But you’re right. They’re your dolls. Do what you want with ‘em. I’m just in a bashing mood today after answering hundreds and hundreds of test questions and writing pages and pages of editorials and essays and short answers. it goes with the territory. i shouldn’t have taken it out on your Italian immigrant doll, but i felt like it. time for more studying!!!

Chas’s not an immigrant, Saoirse is. And it’s not an adult comic, it’s a teen comic, I just can’t give it to anyone here because it has innaproprite words (because it is a mob story, after all).

i have no clue who this chasity and saorise is, but then again if they’re comic book characters I guess that’s why, comics are sooo boring (Zzzzzzz). Oh, but I do know who Luna Lovegood is, yeah Lizzy would make a good Luna. I’d love to make a doll into her, her personality is awesome and so fun and corky. I read up to the 5th harry potter book, then I stopped, I can’t wait for the new movie to come out! My mom only lets me read the series because she knows that i think the idea of witches and “wizards” are bogus and that I don’t get scared or “practice” the “magic”. Wow, so many “air quotes”, but anyway, yeah harry potter is cool, but my favorite is “The clique series”
It’s about a girl (Saoirse) having to decide who’s truly bad and who’s good.

i know being sick is awful, but sometimes i get jealous of you because you don’t have to get up and go to high school everyday. i hate it more than anything. i’ve being looking foward to tomorrow since the 2nd day of school. i can’t remember the last time i felt fully awake. i really can’t.
but it’s better than living in fear of getting sick again.

Where ever they live. I do FL virtual school, where I take a class online, and the teaher has to call and talk to my mom about my progress every month.
Well, I have to go study now. Atleast I can sleep in until 8:45 tomorrow before taking the last exam of the year. I will probably be screaming all over the comment box at around 1:30 in the afternoon. Be forewarned. And then I’ll play the Sims 3 and sleep for 11 hours. Summer rocks.
What did you guys do for Field Day at school? I had tug of war, then water activities! But, I couldn’t do them (water) ’cause I didn’t have spare clothes!

Lena, so which American Girl doll historical outfit(s) are the most historically inaccurate? the most accurate? Felicity’s isn’t accurate, is it? The fabric feels like some cheap synthetic stuff.
Other than the velcro, their stuff is very accurate, except that Lissie’s christmas dress is meant to be 3 pieces, not 2.
Oh, and Beckie’s “pin” should be a pin, not a clip, and her shawl would be woven.
How do you know this stuff? The velco is obvious, but not the shawl and pin.
hey guys, just finished watching an exciting TV show online, now back to being bored…. The sims are awesome, too bad I don’t have any sims games and my lappy won’t accept computer games
. I have no clue what field day is, I’m almost in high school, only a few more weeks until i start! I don’t go to a regular school, I do half homestudies, half time in a small classroom. I got sick like 2 years ago so I can’t go to regular school anymore, I missed my whole junior high years because of it 
If you don’t mind sharing, what kind of sickness did you get? I’m really interested in the medical field, which is why I’m curious. Lena understandably didn’t like it when I asked her the same question.

WAIT…! Speaking Rain mostly looks like Kaya-maybe. I hope Speaking Rain has AFTERHOOD story of Kaya-just like Ivy,Elizabeth,and Nellie. Speaking Rain is mostly like to be apart with Kaya-not much of Kaya,just like Ruthie. She didn’t had much of Kit. And,I have one question here. Is speaking rain younger than Kaya? And by then,Kaya probably would have name Swan Circling(maybe. I don’t know. It can be year 1766,which is about when Elizabeth was placed. 1 year after changes for final story. Then Kaya would be 12 yrs old.) And Ruthie’s book. It dosen’t make place. If you look at cover,it is stood in 1932. In THAT time,Kit’s dad still had a job. It was 1934 when he lost the job. Emily’s was misplaced,too. Emily came about in Molly’s birthday of 1945,not 1944. Other books,which is placed as afterhood book,stands in 6th year of its decade. They’re placed good-characters is almost teenagers by then-one more years up and 13. I don’t actually know about if they turned into 12,possibly not. For Ivy,they’d be in middle school.)
And about Singing Bird. I’d love it if AG puts her into doll-and book! I love reading about girls who is Indian(Native American),or have different life,like Josefina,Rebecca. I just like it,learing about different stuff. (AG puts on things we don’t usually know or interested a lot about. I like that part-makes everything interesting)

The shawls are 2 totally different ones.
Ivy is durring Julie, not after.
Kit’s story takes place in 1932, despite what is says on the cover (there’s a whole nother story about that)
They don’t take place a year after the end of the main girl’s series, they take place durring of just after it. Sam actually ends in 1906, and Nellie takes place shortly after.
And the pin is really a clip, I know because i read reviews of the set on playthings. Also, the shawl is only printed on one side.
I’m eating a mango flavored sucker now. It’s actually good. Ok, you kno how I talked about Mary Poppins yesterday? Well I finished watching the movie today. I hate the ending, (probably ’cause Mary Poppins leaves!
