I am SO getting her. I want her so bad now, she is so pretty!! I think her necklace is a pin though, like Samantha’s was. She probably has a purse thingy I’m guessing, because they can’t want $20 for a shawl, a hat, and a pin as her accessories. I was hoping she would have a pet, but she wouldn’t have much room or extra money for one living in a tenement I suppose. Darn!
Caitlin – she probably doesn’t have a purse. For one, that wouldn’t be realistic for her circumstances. Also, a shawl, hat and brooch probably would cost $20 seeing as a lot of the outfits now cost $32. A good comparison is Emily. Her accessories were a sweater, scrapbook, and dog tags (and maybe one other thing).
I just hope that all of Rebecca’s accessories don’t revolve around Judaism. While it is great that American Girl is incorporating different cultures into their doll line, the focus should also be on growing up. I can’t wait to see her collection – if she has a bed, I’m wandering what it will look like.
She has pet kittens. And she doesn’t live in a tenement, because her family’s been here long enough to have a bigger home.

Lily- it would be realistic for Rebecca to have a purse because purses have been around for a long time. The had satchels in the old day and other bags. Samantha and Nellie had purses, and I do a lot of research on the 1770s-1910s, and I can guarantee you that there were purses back then.

Pioneer fan, Kaya has a purse. Felicity has a purse. Actually, all the main characters have a purse, so it’s likley she’ll have a purse. most of them have a coin too, so it’s likley they just showed the hat, shawl, and brooch here, buth there may be other accessories.

She really is quite pretty! I didn’t like the other photos, but I do like this one. She looks like a Ukranian friend of mine from middle school.
Does anyone know if they’re releasing more stuff for the LEs at the same time? It seems like the second LE outfit release is being pushed farther and farther back each year. But then, Mia and Nicki’s second outfit releases were both very winter themed, and Chrissa/Sonali/Gwen’s story is spring/summer themed.

Cool, but I was asker Pioneerfan so i can help her choose a doll…… although I’m alway happy to hear what girls people have. I love the idea of a modern Elizabeth.
That shawl’s very slovakian, so it makes sense that you see a Ukranina friend in her. My grandma lives on the German Polish border, and she has one just like it. Part of the reason i want her is cause poland was controlled by Russia in 1914, so no matter what they say, I’m making Rebecca Polish. That’s the only thing I’m changing.
They usually release the second part around midsummer, so I can’t be sure. Mia was strange last year, but Chrissa is very summery, so I just don’t know.
pioneerfan04 – I didn’t say a purse wouldn’t fit Rebecca’s time period; I said a purse wouldn’t fit her circumstances. Of course purses have been around for a long time! But would a girl living one step up from a tenement be toting a little velvet purse around like Samantha? A purse isn’t an umbrella term for anything a doll carries. I think her meet outfit looks complete without one anyway. If it weren’t for the shawl, she’d definitely need a bag of some sort.
I found a really good photo of Rebecca (click name). I think whoever took it was a professional photographer who really knew his/her stuff–unlike most of AG’s photographers.

Lily, her dad OWNs a shoe store. She wouldn’t have a nice velvet purse, but she’d definatly have one. Even Kirsten has one, and she’s meant to be poor.
lena- ull love it in atlanta!!! i went in febuary 4 my bday, and it was AWESOME!!!! and they have cool stores thru out the mall. the only thing i didnt like about it was the long drive (only 2 hrs), but it was DEFINATELY worth it. the cafe was really cool 2, but i didnt eat in there, i decided to eat at this really good chinese restruant in the food court. they even gave me a little plate w/ a little sample of chicken for kirsten!! it was great! just remember to wear comfy tennis shoes!!!

my hair is like a medium brown w/ red highlights. but i have these really wierd light gray eyes, almost clear. im not colored blind or anything, so its WIERD!!! and plus, everyone on my dad’s side has brown eyes, and everyone on my mom’s side has hazel. i guess im just an odd-ball. hehe =P

Lily, yes even Addy has a type of carrying device. you know her cloth? atleast AG looks this stuff up and interviews people to know what happened in there time peroid. (ya and I never meant Addy or felicity or some of the older ones becasue if somebody was like Addy, they would be very old and most likely in poor condition.)

My sister’s name is Rebecca, so I guess it’s a popular name!! I can’t wait to get Rebecca, she is so cute!! And I’ll have money to buy her because I have a job interview for a summer job on June 2!!! Hurray!! It’s with the Ecology Youth Corps, and basically you just pick up trash on the side of the highways and roadways around here, and they pay you a little over minimum wage, which here in Washington state is like $8.55 an hour!! I don’t have the job for sure yet, but I’m sure the interview will go well. Wish me luck!!

Well, I usually know 3-6 months ahead of time, depending on when she can tell me or *if* she can tell me. She told be about rebecca only after the book titles were online, but I heard about the baseball outfit when it was still in prototype mode.
Well, Sophie, I have the unfair advantage of having a job, but you can always do extra work around the house, and not spend on things you really don’t need.

American Girl Today is what the JLY line was called once, and i liked it a lot better. Now girls think they HAVE to choose a doll that looks like them, instead of creating an original story for one that doesn’t.
BTW, Rosa looks nothing like me. Her hair is straight and black, mine’s curly and brown (dyed redish), her eyes are almost black, mine are hazel.

No she wasn’t. Book covers and people photoshops don’t count, and when she came out in stores before she was online, plenty of people took pics of her. She also came out on a press realse from AG. Julie was never leaked.
Ashleigh, if you are referring to the personal shopper pix of Julie, then she wasn’t leaked. A leak is generally more than a few weeks before the release of a doll. Enough time to make a suitable knock-off version that can be sold for cheap and suck up some of AG’s profits.

I bought my first American Girl doll 10 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Some years I was less into it than others, though. I have twelve AG dolls and I have a weakness for info about new dolls. Based on what you’ve said, Lena, I’m probably one year younger than you (if you know about sine, cosine, and tangent, then we’re about on the same page).
Are they bringing Samantha back or is she retired forever?

Hey guys! Happy memorial day! I saw a show on TV last night, in washington D.C., it was a tribute on memorial day eve for the troops in all the wars. They showed pictures, videos, and people’s stories. It was very sad, but it makes you realize how brave these men and women are, you know? That’s why I love learning about WWll. The reason I know so much is because I loved AG dolls forever its been 7 years since my first doll, and i read about AGs company and history and dolls and marketing, like when people say you cant wash your dolls hair i say yes you can and type out directions. I’ve had my fair share of dolls and accessories and furniture too (for them) so I know alot about products, and of course number one reason is I read articles and search for information about AG.

I got my first AG doll in Nov. 2002 (so that’s….seven years ago?) and I remember looking through the catalogs before that. I don’t really consider myself an expert compared to others on here; I only know what everyone else does, but I know it pretty well. It all depends on who you compare me to, really. I know more than my sisters but less than some people on here, like Lena.

I got my first AG in 2000, but I was only 5 and I was too into Barbies to care much about AG’s, although, people still gave me outfits for my doll. The only time I played was with my cousin because her and her sister had lots of AG doll accessories and furniture, it was always so fun playing with them, although her sister never played much with us. I used to play with my dolls all the time, but until a few months ago, I feel I’ve grown out of playing with them, which I really hate myself for, I really tried to play with them so I don’t have to grow out of them, but its just boring for me now to play, i guess you come to an age where you just grow out of things, yes or no? I mean is it really true for someone to just grow out of things like me growing out of playing dolls?
Yes, it is possible, Sarah. I think the reason why I never grew out of American girl dolls was because I never truly played with them. Mine go up on a shelf when I buy them and I change their outfits occassionaly. I think the same is true for any type of doll; girls don’t “collect” dolls to play with.
I live near Mexico, in Texas, and there are a growing number of Mexican immigrants here as well. In fact, some of my good friends are from Mexico. I’m taking Spanish so I can understand what they are saying!
Yeah, I collect, but I put them on diplay, changing it maybe once a month.
There’s a reason I’m taking Italina and Latin, cause my area’s filled with Spanish people.
Yeah, I wanted to take Latin because it would help me understand other languages and root words and stuff, but my school doesn’t offer it.
How do you define “play” as in with dolls?
Mine aren’t strictly on display, per say, but I’m not sure if I play with them, either.
I’m homeschooled, though, so it was available, and I grabbed it.
I play as in I dress them, do their hair, put them into comfy positions, and leave. But I’ll also do something once in a while, like taking a doll to Disney or something. Last year, I took Kit to NYC, and just walked around NY with her.
Starr, I mean play as in you tote your dolls around with you and play house with them. There really isn’t a definitive boundary to play, though. It’s not the same for different people.

I wish school taught the street-talk version of Spanish. You’re right, Sarah, proper Spanish doesn’t help you understand what people speak in everyday life. That’s why I’m not going to take AP Spanish language and literature. It’s useless!

Well, it’s my last year of middle school. Hellooooo, ninth grade!!
When I play with my dolls, I usually play with them with Zoe over webcam. Like, we’ll dress them, brush their hair, and play house with them. There’s usually a lot of drama.
About Spanish… In the Midwest (I’m not saying where, though) there’s quite a diverse population- Indians, Mexicans, and some Asians. Where I used to live with Zoe, though, there were pretty much two kinds of people- Americans and Native Americans. It’s funny, because we started learning Spanish in third grade there. Where I live now, they don’t teach Spanish until, like, seventh grade.
Oh, yeah. I realized that where I live, high school doesn’t start till 10th grade. :/
Also, there’s a LOT of African Americans.

Spanish here starts in 8th grade fo the few who get good grades, then in 9th for the rest. In the “normal” schools.

Rebecca the doll was leaked, not that they were making her. I first heard about “Rebekha” in the 90’s. Someone was nice enough to give AGPlaythings nice pics of her and her book, but someone crossposted them and they were taken down.

I mean really, I didn’t ever get to go till an AG store till ‘06 in Chicago, and that was a huge deal (my dad only commutes there, so it was just my mom and bros – lol – and me so…) It was like Chicago, LA or NYC. they just built said they were building the AG B&B when we were about to move. That was the only good part about moving!! all my bfs were jealous! hehe Florida would be smart. really smart. i know they 99.9% probably wouldn’t do it, but man, an AG store (even a small one) in Disney would be thousands, millions a yr for mattel!! but outside of disney would be cool too…

I just had a birthday “party” for Samantha! We had leftover mini ice cream sandwiches with coconut ice cream in the middle (as opposed to vanilla – they were really good!) in the freezer. I found candles, wedged them into the center of the sandwich (one for me and the girls) sang happy birthday to Sam, blew out the candles, ate and fed the girls, and took loads of pictures and a video! So silly and yet so fun!
Have you guys ever celebrated a doll’s birthday (from the books, not the anniversary of when you got her) like that? It was a first for me and I really enjoyed it.

The candles, the bread, and tea (that’s what the big brass pot makes) are traditional for the Jewish sabath, also called shabot, or shabos. It is from sundown on friday, to I think sundown on saturday, but I have to check.

I found a pic of the lunch (apperantly, the school bag and lunch will be one set) and it looks good. From what I can see it has a bagel, some green things, and cookies that look like Polish rogaliki, which is jam rolled into dough…. kinda like Kit’s cake, only small.

Plus, my grandma (in Poland) is about to go into hip replacement surgery, and my mom’s not sure if she should;t go to Poland to be with her.

I’m 7 hours from Atlanta, so gas there and back is about 200$, plus lodging about 70$, plus another 100$ for food. So I’d be cheeper.
Well, my uncle will be there, but my mom’s not sure if she should go – even last minute. Polish doctors tend to be swindlers, and she wants the best care for her mom. Like how grandma;s only 65, but they wanted to put in a replacement that would last 5 years. I know peope who’re 100 years old, so 70’s pretty young to loose yor hips agin. I really think she should go. My mom knows how to handle doctors from when i was in the hospital, and she knows to fight for the best care. My grandma’s the sweetest person ever, so she wouldn’t say anything. My uncle’s a little clueless about the situation, and my aunt’s of no help.

yea. my dad has his first when he was 42. i wasnt born then. since then, he has had 2 additional surgeries. he has an artifical hip in both of his legs
I know about the care issue, Lena. About six or more years ago, my grandmother, who turns 89 later this year, nearly died as a result of a simple surgery. The doctors were careless and neglectful, and she developed life-threatening infections. These were infections that could have killed anybody, let alone an elderly person. I remember my mom and dad talking to my brother and I in the living room, preparing us for her death. We were all preparing for her death when she surprised us all and made a recovery. We still consider her survival a miracle – everybody, without a doubt, thought she would die. She is small (5′0 – used to be almost 5′2 but she shrunk – and currently about 82 lbs) but she is stronger than she looks. These days she is doing great, but my parents always have to step in when she has even the simplest procedure done to ensure that she gets proper treatment.
My other grandma (mom’s mom) died last year. She was relatively young but did not take care of herself and ended up having obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, three strokes…the list goes on and on. Anyway, she developed dementia and was really out of it by the end, and my mom had to step in and make sure that they would treat her with dignity up until the very end.
I wish your grandmother all the best.
Yikes, Anne! I’d hate for that to happen to my grandmother. That is just so terrible!! But it’s very hard to have someone in your life almost die. In fact, I almost did when I was two because of a kidney disease! But, Lena, I pray that your grandmother does well.

I might get Beckie and her wardrobe in a few years…seeing that Lissie is booked for this coming birthday (June 25!!!), Addy for my next, and I never get a doll until I have had the previous one for at least a year. So far, I have only gotten them for my birthdays, and I think I will continue that tradition.

Kirsten’s is June 8th, Kit’s May 19, and Sam’s May 26. I made up Nali’s b-day cause she’s not canon Sonali, and they never told ud when her b-day is anyway. So July 4, like my fave character. And no, her b-day outfit is NOT red, white, and blue.

Thankyou very much,jujubean! I love her collection. I think it’s her entire collection,though. I think Rebecca’s most gorgeous of all the Josefina mold characters. I wonder if they included blanket in Rebecca’s bedding-it looks too simple! If they don’t,I guess the Rebecca’s blanket in meet accessory would be OK. And another thing AG would be likely to include in meet accessory-hankie or kerchief. Even Josefina,who,has her own shawl(it kinda looks like blanket),even has hankie(or was it kerchief? I think it was kerchief.). I hope Rebecca has hankie too. PS:I personally dosen’t like AG dolls with TOO many stuff with them-just one small collection like Rebecca. Hello? The Rebecca’s pages are already out!!! I don’t personally like her mini doll. Also,yes,she only as hat,shawl,and pin(It is pin from her grandmother. No one probably has read Rebecca’s book yet. I just read from descriptions.)

i still have a couple of weeks and alot of asignments from school and im not even behind or anthing. oh well. they raised the price of the meet accessories. i it when they do that. i liked it when the dolls cost and everything cost less. i saw an old catalouge on a bench at the library and the dolls were 80 and the price keeps going up. are they going to stop that before it reaches 150 or whatever for the dolls? i dont like the mini dolls. i like the big dolls.

Hi. I am new to this site. I just wanted to leave a comment.
I just added another AG doll to my collection, but I didn’t buy her. In fact, I just put my name in the drawing box, along with hundreds of others and they picked my name ! I won her ! I am so excited ! Now the very pretty Rebecca has room in my bedroom along side of Nicki, Mia, Julie, Molly, and a Just Like You doll ~ I also purchased her “Movie Dress” outfit . The display in the Los Angeles window is gorgeous and the store was packed today with other excited girls just like me !
We finished the day with tea in the cafe ! It was an awesome day. My next trip is to the newly refurbished New York City store where we may do the “cruise around lower Manhattan” in which the story of Rebecca comes full circle with the amazing Manhattan skyline in the background.

PS,for AG book record(historical character’s books not including mysteries),Meet Julie has most pages. Of course Girl of the Year books have most hardest books,or pages since they’re still big as historical character’s 6 book series,has more than 100 pages,with smaller letters.

Same here. I wish I exempted my Spanish exam. It was awful. Everyone thought it was hard.
I actually had a customer that was arguing with her daughter about American Girl. She was saying she’d rather pay 50$ for a Disney doll than 100$ for one of those over priced ones. The Disney dolls are worse than the ones at Target, IMO, they’re very soft plastic, can’t stand by themselves, their hair is plastic and rooted, and they are generally very cheep, and would sell for 8$ at Micheals if not for the big Mickey logo all over their clothes.
American Girl dolls are expensive (obviously), but the quality can’t be beat. Stuff isn’t cheap these days, even the junky toys.
Lena, I stopped buying products from Disney. My daughters are 8 and 6, and I’d rather spend extra $$ on quality items from AG that they can treasure and pass down, than a $25 or $50 Disney doll that breaks after two weeks of play. We just ordered Rebecca and some of the clothing last night. She’s gorgeous, and I might just steal her from my girls!! We have Josefina, Felicity, Elizabeth, Mia…and soon Rebecca.

The quality of a 100$ doll can’t be beat you mean, beause my Life of Faith Elsie and Laylie, and Karito Kids Ling, Lulu, and Pita, match that of my AG’s.

No. The dolls that use the hair pick use it for a reason. Brushes tend to get stuck in their hair or mess up curls.
AG&Fan- if you’re talking about dolls like Addy, then no. But dolls like Kit and Gwen yes. (btw- can u use hairbrush on Ruthie and Beckie? I’ve done that with Ruthie and her hair looks fine.)

Nicki and 26 get their curls really mixed up with a brush. I’ve heard Beckie’s curls are closer to Nicki’s than Ruthie’s, so I wouldn’t suggest using a brush unless you know how to get the curls back.
Of all of my dolls, Nicki has my least favorite hair. I’ve never brushed it before and I’ve never gotten a hair pick before since they’re a rip off. I’ll probably suck it up and buy one eventually.

i read a book that took place in turkey, based on someones life, dont know the title. she was talking about her childhood and her and her coulsin weere home alone and they cut thier hair as a style they saw aon another their age so they cut bangs into eachothers hair and they got in so much toruble because it was turkish not armenian. any one know the title. it was about turkey and how so many christians were killed for thier religion and ethnic cleans. who were armenian right? this happened around world war one.

I am hoping for a Kirsten and an Addy movie. Lena, what do you mean by forgotten 4…five? I know of the four forgotten dolls – Kaya, Josefina, Kirsten, Addy – is there a fifth?
I also hope that they don’t make a Julie movie, especially not a musical. I hate musicals – they are so annoying! Also, they need to make movies based on dolls living in different time periods. Molly and then Kit, though their lives are different, was a bad choice in my opinion.
The Samantha movie was also my favorite. I feel like the quality of the movies has gone down. I hope this trend doesn’t continue. The Sam movie is what convinced me to get the Sam and Nellie dolls.

I agree! I hate Hannah Montana! Blech!!! I also hate the Jonas Brothers (sry for those that do!!) The only AG movie I dislike is Felicity’s. All the others were great! Oh, and guess what! I was at the dentist and had to have a couple fillings!!

The felicity movie was my favorite because it was just like the books and the acting wasn’t fake like the Samantha movie, although that movie was cute. I don’t like hannah montana that much, oh wait, no i dont like MILEY cyrus, hannah montana is ok, lol (probably cause she’s not real!) And what is up with hannah montana performing concerts as hannah montana AND miley cyrus when she ain’t fooling anybody that they’re not the same person! i mean they’re voices are the same, how different would the concerts be except she has a blonde wig on!

Well…but Singing Bird is sort of like Emily. She only comes in one book. Besides,Singing Birds leaves where Kirsten lives. AG hasn’t known where Singing Bird is yet(Since they control all the stories,they might say Singing Bird is in other state,or something like that). Plus,Kirsten can be retired soon,just like Sam and Nell,dince she was one of the original characters.
And one thing. AG dosen’t have a character who live in Gold Rush time. Yes,it might be kirsten,considering she lives closest to Gold Rush time(okay,it actually might be happening at Gold Rush Time,but if it was,Kirsten’s family might move to California…though I don’t think so. I think family is happy with all they have) There also is problem,that Rebecca only came out this month,so no more historical characters,prob,maybe even forever,though then AG might’ve retired lots of historical characters from present historical characters,to add new ones)
kirsten should have Anna or Singing Bird, but that might be too close to Kaya
There’s possibility that AG would do auditions for Julie. I aso hope they wouldn’t be musical-I wish they were just with Julie’s original song and that’s it. One thing I’ve known,is that none of kids who auditioned got lead&BF roles. Hmm…. Maybe they wanted to use well-known,popular,and experienced actress. PS.I personally think Kirsten movie is sort of impossible to make-yo. It will probably include Marta part-and AG hasn’t made movie with kids that dies-and that’ll be sooo sad! I wonder why AG had made part that Marta dies-maybe to inform readers that lots of people died because of sickness that time? Anyway,Kirsten dosen’t really consider about Marta a lot,except maybe one or two chapters in the Meet book?

Julie is the most appealing to me, but I need to buy Chrissa now so I can get Sonali and Gwen for Christmas. I can only get two of the dolls right now, unfortunately. Decisions, decisions! Actually, studying, studying . . . two more exams left! Then I’ll worry about which AG dolls I’m going to buy when I go to LA.

I would get Julie and Rebecca, but I need to also get Chrissa now. Realistically, I can’t ask for Chrissa, Gwen, Sonali, and all of Chrissa’s outfits for Christmas. Wow. Hardly anyone has commented today. Holly, Elizabeth is a good choice (better than Rebecca in my opinion). She’s my favorite AG doll out of the 12 that I have. Her meet dress is very pretty. Too bad her summer outfit is retired.

There’s nothing wrong with Elizabeth’s dress, in my opinion. I like pink. Besides, if it was the “historically accurate” 3-piece version, then the doll would have to be more expensive. I’m not a big stickler for historical accuracy; my main gripe are the ugly outfits.
Lena, Elizabeth was supposed to be wealthy, if you’ve ever read Very Funny, Elizaneth. She was definitely more well off than Felicity.

i have no clue who this chasity and saorise is, but then again if they’re comic book characters I guess that’s why, comics are sooo boring (Zzzzzzz). Oh, but I do know who Luna Lovegood is, yeah Lizzy would make a good Luna. I’d love to make a doll into her, her personality is awesome and so fun and corky. I read up to the 5th harry potter book, then I stopped, I can’t wait for the new movie to come out! My mom only lets me read the series because she knows that i think the idea of witches and “wizards” are bogus and that I don’t get scared or “practice” the “magic”. Wow, so many “air quotes”, but anyway, yeah harry potter is cool, but my favorite is “The clique series”

Other than the velcro, their stuff is very accurate, except that Lissie’s christmas dress is meant to be 3 pieces, not 2.
Oh, and Beckie’s “pin” should be a pin, not a clip, and her shawl would be woven.

hey guys, just finished watching an exciting TV show online, now back to being bored…. The sims are awesome, too bad I don’t have any sims games and my lappy won’t accept computer games
. I have no clue what field day is, I’m almost in high school, only a few more weeks until i start! I don’t go to a regular school, I do half homestudies, half time in a small classroom. I got sick like 2 years ago so I can’t go to regular school anymore, I missed my whole junior high years because of it

WAIT…! Speaking Rain mostly looks like Kaya-maybe. I hope Speaking Rain has AFTERHOOD story of Kaya-just like Ivy,Elizabeth,and Nellie. Speaking Rain is mostly like to be apart with Kaya-not much of Kaya,just like Ruthie. She didn’t had much of Kit. And,I have one question here. Is speaking rain younger than Kaya? And by then,Kaya probably would have name Swan Circling(maybe. I don’t know. It can be year 1766,which is about when Elizabeth was placed. 1 year after changes for final story. Then Kaya would be 12 yrs old.) And Ruthie’s book. It dosen’t make place. If you look at cover,it is stood in 1932. In THAT time,Kit’s dad still had a job. It was 1934 when he lost the job. Emily’s was misplaced,too. Emily came about in Molly’s birthday of 1945,not 1944. Other books,which is placed as afterhood book,stands in 6th year of its decade. They’re placed good-characters is almost teenagers by then-one more years up and 13. I don’t actually know about if they turned into 12,possibly not. For Ivy,they’d be in middle school.)
And about Singing Bird. I’d love it if AG puts her into doll-and book! I love reading about girls who is Indian(Native American),or have different life,like Josefina,Rebecca. I just like it,learing about different stuff. (AG puts on things we don’t usually know or interested a lot about. I like that part-makes everything interesting)

Kit’s story takes place in 1932, despite what is says on the cover (there’s a whole nother story about that)
They don’t take place a year after the end of the main girl’s series, they take place durring of just after it. Sam actually ends in 1906, and Nellie takes place shortly after.

And not all of them take place in XXX4, Kit’s take place 1932-1934, and Julie’s in 1975-1976.
sara- shes just kinda ”cheaped” out in my opinion. and i cant relate to her stories. shes definately not on my favorites list.
She is cheaped, but at least her sleaves are lined so the red dress doesn’t stain.

Well, mostly her accessories are cheep. The hat is very nice, but the “pin” is a clip (although it’s imporant to her). And the shawl is printed on one side only. The other is white. For 24$, you’d think it’d be printed on both.

You said you were bored, which I guess is quite a problem you have to deal with. I read a lot in the summer to stay busy, thanks to cheap book lots from ebay. I also love paint-by-numbers. They cost from $5-15 and will keep you busy for a very long time. It’s very gratifying when you finish to see a pretty painting that you did. It can get tedious though.
Time to go study for my last exam tomorrow. I can’t wait! Hopefully my lousy Windows XP will support the Sims 3.
aw, thanks Lily, that’s so nice of you =). My friends don’t get it AT ALL, they think if I just tell myself that my anxiety isn’t real, that it will just go away. Its very frustrating, they can be mean about it sometimes, and its hard for my family to understand too, so I’m usually always at home, being bored, lonely, and anxious. Its stinks, but I’ve been starting to read like you said and it def. passes the time! Life can be boring but I’m going into high school and hopefully with a new class with nicer teachers I WILL SURVIVE!!!
I guess people don’t understand that it’s out of your control. You can’t tell your body to switch off those hormones that make you anxious suddenly. It’s not something under your conscious control; much of your brain works without any of your input. And I’m sorry people don’t understand your condition. It must be frustrating. Have fun reading!

I entered-since I don’t have rebecca. I probably have 1 through 10 percent of winning. I don’t think that many people has entered yet-seriously. What’s Sims 3?
The Sims 3 is computer game that is kind of like a virtual dollhouse. You control the lives of “Sims” – animated people and they grow up, get married, have kids, jobs, etc. It’s a fun game, but since there are suggestive themes and violence, it’s rated T for teen.
And I liked the New Moon Trailer. I can’t wait to see the Breaking Dawn movie.
Last exam tomorrow and it’s 11:45. ‘Night.

I love my Simmies, but I think I prefer 2, because in 3 the entire neighborhood moves with only one sim, and I really don’t like that. Actually, I liked Sims 1 best because they didn’t age at all, but it kept crashing my computer so….
