According to the Denver Business Journal, American Girl will be opening its eighth store in the Park Meadows mall in south Denver in the spring of 2010. The store will have a doll salon and the new “Creativi-Tees” make your own doll tee activity center within the store.

Someone found AG will be making two new sets of six books, both historical, for a Denise and a Sarah. Personally, I think they are code names like Lulu as for Chrissa last year.

You don’t have to pay any taxes if you live in a state where there is an AG store.
The states that do have to pay taxes are New York, Illinois, California, Massachussets, Texas, Georgia, Minnesota, and soon Colorodo.
Neither name is trademarked by AG though.

I’m really looking foward to two new historical characters. I’m sure I’ll fall head over heels and buy them instantly. My doll collection (esp. MT and AG) is getting too big, but I did do a very good job of avoiding Chrissa & co. altogether. It’s probably for the best that LoF went out of business.
The problem is that I want to get Emily before she is archived (she and Molly are possibly next) and Kaya because I just bought her complete fancy shawl outfit (probably my favorite AG outfit ever). Decisions, decisions.

i was going to get kirsten but chrissa and sonali just were a little bit cuter. lanie stories were a bit boring but who knows. cant wait 4 more info….. the ag store in alanta was a little bit crowded…. but im glad i went early cuz last year when i went in dec… most of mias stuff was gone…. i want 2 go thankgiving wk every time or 4 my b-day…….:)
