DollDiaries reader Caitlin got a ton of cool American Girl products for Christmas – lucky girl! She received the Nicki doll, Sprocket, Nicki’s gala and skiing outfits, her second book (Thanks to Nicki), Nellie’s Christmas outfit, Nellie’s accessories, her doll Lydia, Addy’s Ida Bean doll, and Kirsten’s rag doll Sari. Wow! Here are her thoughts:
I was overall very impressed with everything I received quality wise. I especially liked Nicki’s cowboy boots because they had hidden velcro closings along the back of them that made them SO much easier to take off! Her cream eyelet body suit was a little bit hard to get on, but not bad. Her hair is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! How do they get the curls to stay like that??? Sprocket was ADORABLE, and I really like him, though he’s not quite as fluffy as he seems in advertising pictures.
Nicki’s books were also very good reads, and I really enjoyed them. The only problem I had with anything I got was Kirsten’s rag doll Sari. She seemed very stiff and non-poseable, not very rag doll like at all. She was cute, but very stiffly stuffed, and her dress was wrinkled from packaging a little.
Another reader, Annabell, got a great set of American Girl lotions lipsticks and books from Bath and Body Works. My girls always love those and I forgot to get them any this year.

Hey, I am sorry if your really telling the truth which i dont really think you are, But I PROMISE you i did not leave a nagitive mark on your blog website I AM TELLING THE TRUTH!!! I PROMISE!!!!!!! I dont agree with what you are saying and also for you to know what ruthie looks like but ag told you not to tell they CANNOT hold you to a contract someome under aged can have a contract with your manager, BUT AG cannot hold an under aged minor to it if they are then they are breaking the law!!!!!!

Well, that’s a little confusing! Did ya know, that EVERYONE who auditioned for the Kit movie (including me!) has signed a contract? I still remember signing it! And my friends, and their friends, and so on….who have auditioned, have all signed this contract. There’s got to be another law clearly stating a rule of contract to children actors. Think of all of the TV shows and movies w/ kids in them: for example, Hannah Montana. Destiny Hope (Miley) has a TV contract w/ the producers…and she’s only fifteen!!!!
I am still very upset about that comment on my blog. I wonder who posted it. Thank God I moderated it before anyone saw it!

I have an idea to get people to believe you. this way EVERYONE will believe you. Post a picture of you and Ruthie on the exact day she comes out. Put the picture on your blog, and then everyone will know you had her all along because no one can get her the day she comes out! that way everyone will HAVE to believe you.

Someone threatened that I WAS lying, and that if I didn’t stop, they would post on every AG chatroom that they can find, and say that I was lying, and that I don’t even exist. She also said a few nasty things, too. Oh, and good idea, Anna! The only thing is that people CAN get her on her release date. I’ve also been having technical difficulties with posting pics on my site lately. I press UPDATE, but it’s always been saying SERVER MAITNENCE. But, I’ll try! If it doesn’t work, then we’ll have to think of something else!

Well, I assume that it was a girl because I only told people on dollcloset and Millie’s to check it out. My Bro is 19- He doesn’t care that I have Ruthie, LOL. I model clothes in catalouges, adds in magazines, and I even do commercials. I called freewebspace because the server maitnence thing was bugging me and my mom. They said it would be done in SEPTEMBER!!! I think the site has been like this forever!

The only thing true is that I modeled ONCE with Kiwi last sunday, and I only LOOK like Mia, NOT MODELED AFTER HER. I don’t have Ruthie.
