American Girl Kit Mystery Challenge for Nintendo DS

American Girl Kit Mystery ChallengeAdding to the growing collection of American Girl games for computer and personal games systems, American Girl Kit Mystery Challenge for Nintendo DS, will be available for purchase on June 24, 2008. Of course, you can pre-order it now to ensure that you are one of the first to play.

The game involves solving 6 different mysteries based on the Kit stories that focus on the boarders who stay in the Kittredge house during the hard economic times of the 1930s. Two of the mysteries are the Case of the Missing Rose and the Case of the Lost Pearls. Explore Kit’s hometown, collect clues as you talk to townspeople, track the evidence in Kit’s Clue Book and use put it all together to solve the mysteries. You also get to dress Kit in 6 different outfits through out the game.

My girls have really enjoyed the Julie DS game and I’m sure they will want this one too, especially once they see the Kit movie.

Yeah, you can buy them just about anywhere they sell Nintendos, I think. They may not be Nintendo brand, per say, but they will be Nintendo certified.

I really don’t think American Girl should get into DS, but IDK. when I was 9 and i got kit, she only had her outfits, her books, her furniture, and the dress alike clothes for girls. no Nintendo DS games! :( IDK. maybe i need to get moderanized. :D

  21. Sara on June 3rd, 2008 5:25 am

yea, i agree with you Anna. b/c it’s very confusing on the Julie game, and the story’s not even correct! but who knows? maybe the Kit game will be better.

  22. Anna on June 3rd, 2008 6:54 pm

    I sure hope so!

  33. Zoe on June 6th, 2008 9:59 pm

  34. Jessica on June 7th, 2008 7:31 am

Huh well I am currently BROKE. :( However, I get moohlah ($) every saturday for babysitting

  35. Sienna C. on June 8th, 2008 4:12 pm

    Moohlah! LOL!

  36. Sara on June 9th, 2008 7:02 am

I earn money from Teacher Assisting in the little kids dance classes. Next year I’m going to be TAing just one class instead of two. I earn $168 a year for two classes, and earn $68 a year for one class. But if I just do one class next year for just $60, that means I get more money for Christmas and my birthday! Last year for our annual trip to NYC, I got $468 for a total of birthday, Christmas, and TA!

I don’t have Nintendo and probably won’t be getting it either (my mom doesn’t like it because she thinks it will absorb my life) but it does sound cool!
