American Girl Doll Sighting - Cory in the House
We are watching Disney’s Cory in the House tonight - The Presidential Seal episode and Madison Pettis is shown holding and playing with her Just Like You Doll from American Girl. Her doll is #GT26H - the one with curly brown hair, brown eyes and medium skin.
In this episode Cory asks Sophie to give him and his date a tour of the Oval Office. Sophie and her doll are shown during the scene and Cory agrees to play with Sophie in exchange for a tour. Once they are in the Oval Office, Cory accidently spills ink on the Presidential Seal.
Madison Pettis and her doll are also featured in the episode “Napper’s Delight” and Madison celebrated her birthday at American Girl Place Los Angeles.

I actually saw the doll(s) a couple times. I forget both episodes, but when I saw the episode the first time, I said ” Hey, is that an American Girl Doll?” and I wished there was a close-up on the doll (” Hey, close up on Madison’s AG Doll?”) lol!
I think it’s cool that they’re on that show!
Yup. And don’t ya think that it’s kind of advertising AG dolls? Mabybe…

Slightly related, but on Hannah Montana, Miley’s stuffed bear ‘Beary Bear’ is a Build-A-Bear. This sorta reminded me of that. *shrug* And it’s not advertising, because, hey, they had to get this stuff from somewhere.
Acorn - that’s a great bit of trivia. I’ll have to see if I can find a good picture of it for here.
They feature this doll twice on Cory In the House. One episode where Cory adds sound to the JLY, Sophie’s voice. Cory added Sophie saying bratty things onto the doll,and trys to sell the “Bratty Sophie Doll.” Sophie gets Revenge by scaring Cory with the AG. Its kinda funny!
