When the new items came out, my daughter and I immediately fell in love with the school desk set. Partially because she is forever playing school with her dolls, and because it seems to be a good size display piece. The box came today – it had the school desk set and the beackpack set in it.

The desk is plastic, but it is a sturdy plastic that is not too big or too small.

Marisol offered to be our model. She fits comfrotably in the desk which has a shelf underneath to hold her books. The desk comes with a readable math book, folder with worksheets, and a pencil case. The backpack has a water bottle, a planner, Homework Smarts book, library card, a three ring binder and is just perfect for the dolls!

I think these two items are great values – especially from the play standpoint. What do you think? Cute?

in Queensland they have this place with about 5 theme parks and i’ve been to all but one and never been on the scary rides
I have an older brother and sist.er. They’re both home at the moment. I don’t have much to do with them, though. My family isn’t very supportive of my dolls, although my mom thinks they make my room pretty.
I don’t scream and I defiantly don’t cry on roller coasters! They don’t scare me, but they sure are fun!
On El Toro, I caught a woman’s had mid-air while on the roller coaster! She left her hat on by mistake and thought for sure it was gone! The best part is I have a picture of me catching it because the automatic camera was stationed at that point!
lol! my doll make a mess in my room! i have to rooms, one for my toys and one for my bed, desk and bookshelf (i have a large amount of toys) and there is a bed in the toy room that is covered in doll clothes and things!
I love scary rides! The bigger and faster, the better. I was at Disneyland two weeks ago, and it was fun, but I think it’s way too crowded and a bit overrated.
it is too crowded! i was there in the middle of the school year (or something like that) and there were still 40 minute lines!
My dolls aren’t really strung out since I don’t really play with them. They’re eye candy, more or less. My toys are my books and the computer.
My mom and dad roll their eyes whenever I attempt to talk dolls with them because they know that they are in for a rant.
My mom never and will never ride those rides. My dad rode with me last year but isn’t sure if he will ever go again because he had a really bad concussion late last year and hasn’t fully recovered yet. But he loves them. My brother likes water rides a lot. Not me, because I hate the water.
Later in the day at Disneyland, a lot of the lines were from 45-70 minutes. Not fun! The fast pass thing was a rip off because you can only get them every few hours.
I would love a sort of house to keep my dolls in. Even if it was just like shlves on a wall, if i had somewhere to keep them neat, then i would! I only got into dolls a couple of years ago so i still play with them. I used to just play with soft toys. I love the computer though! I also spend alot of time outside.
Nobody in my family likes roller coasters. I’m the black sheep in so many ways
I play with my dolls a little, but I keep my room (but not my drawers or my closet) neat. It is a small room and I have a lot of things, so it is in my best interest to do do. But I love how my room has character and would not trade it for any other room in the world! It has been my bedroom since I was 3 1/2 and it has changed with me. I am so attached to it!
I love water rides! my mum went on the indiana jones ride at disneyland paris and really hurt her neck so she won’t go on them. I’ll have to wait till i can afford to go with friends.
I like being on the computer and love being outside! Going to the park, playing teatherball, kickball, tag, ANYTHING!
I never spend time outside unless I’m running because the weather is so miserable. I arrange my dolls on any available surface in my room – bookshelves, dressers, nightstands. I’d say there’s around 19 large dolls (between 18 and 30 inches) standing around.
my bedroom has been mine since i was 2. when i was about 10 i wanted to paint it purple. I regret it now coz i had ballerina bear wallpaper in a strip around the middle and now i miss it. But my room does look pretty cool!
Anyone ever been water skiing?
I love water rides! And water parks, for that matter. Schlitterbahn is the best.
We went on the Scream Machine at Six Flags and hurt our heads because it banged our heads around a lot. I refer to that ride as “The Head-Banger Ride.” It was not fun.
I’ve tried water skiing and surfing, but I’m very un-coordinated so I failed on both counts.
I love to jump on the trampoline. I can do a flip and land on my feet (which is very difficult) I’m going to work on a backflip soon!
My bookshelfs are full of books and my desk has books on it too! there isn’t much room to put my dolls where they will be noticed unless it is on the floor. they normally sit on a chair in my room.
At Six Flags Over Texas, there is a wooden roller coaster called “The Texas Giant”. It was so painful. It felt like my ribs were going to crack because of the constant jolting.
I’ve tried waterskiing but was turned off it because i tried it but didn’t get up and then didn’t let go of the rope because noone told me to! but i plan to try again soon!
I’m going to play with my doggies now.
Talk later!
You must be pretty agile, Georgia! I’ve always wished I could do stuff like that. Ice skating, gymnastics, etc. The pretty, graceful sports that aren’t about moving your legs as fast as they’ll go for long distances.
I’m going to go to bed now. When I wake up, Georgia will probably be going to sleep! Good night, everyone!
No, I haven’t.
Until I moved here when I was 3 1/2, we lived in an apartment that my family still owns. Technically, we still have my first bedroom.
When I was 10 I was a real tomboy and even wore boy’s clothes. My parents painted my room light pink with slightly darker pink trim when we first moved into the house. I really wanted to paint my room blue then, but I’m glad I didn’t. Pink, although it is not my favorite color, looks wonderful in my room.
I have 4 AG’s, 5 antique dolls, and 2 random dolls. One is an off-brand Barbe that I have had since I was 6 or younger and was my favorite childhood doll. The other is from when I was younger, too, but we don’t remember where or when I got her. I had a few baby dolls and 13 Barbies and some Barbie clothes, but I never felt attached to them and never really collected them, so I gave them away.
I’m going to sleep, too. Nice talking to you!
If i go to bed at 9:30pm then it will be 5:30am in America(CST). If I get up at 8am then it will be 4pm in America.
That’s weird!
My bday is in Febuary too, Georgia. You are the closest one to my age.
Did anyone hear that McDonald’s is putting AG in their Happy Meals next month? I’m wondering what they will include since even a mini doll runs 20 bucks! I’m hoping for an item for my AG dolls, like food, or craft sets.
It’s pretty quiet here this morning…
Which just seems a little weird because it is so different from the non-stop talking last night.
I just woke up. I’m never one of the people on before 9 or 10 in the morning. I love my sleep!
I went to bed late last night and got up a short while ago. I love my sleep, too! So does my brother, though he won’t admit it. But send him to bed late and wake him up in the morning and you get a real grouch!
Omgosh, Bratz dolls on Amazon are going for like $90!! I’m so going to sell mine…. American Girl and other stuff, here I come!!!
And that behavior lasts for the rest of the day! And he’s usually not that grouchy.
$90? Really? Wow! If you sell yours, you’ll make a huge profit.
Are Bratz dolls officially out of production?
Unfortunately, I have none to sell.
The demise of the Bratz doll is good for AG, since Bratz competed with another Mattel brand: Barbie. I always thought those dolls were strange.
Holly, keep in mind that on Amazon those dolls are probably new and never removed from their boxes. Deboxing and playing with dolls makes their value drop like a rock.
I have the collectable ones that were only released for a very short time. I have a Bratz Yasmin (22″) and a Bratz Kidz Chloe (18″)
I know I have a Bratz Big Babyz to, so thats quite a bit of $$$.
I hope you can make a tidy profit on your dolls
All of those “z” that Bratz uses kind of get on my nerves . . .
Thanks Lily!!! The new dolls MGA has came out with (in replacement of bratz) are SO cute!!! Google Best Friend CLub dolls, or Moxie Girlz dolls.
I think their faces are sweeter than the Bratz doll, which were a tad . . . you know
I do agree. The Best Friend Club dolls have 18″ dolls also. (I’m getting one when they hit the stores
) The only reason I got the Bratz dolls were because I knew about the Mattel vs. MGA lawsuit. So happy I got them!! I can get such a good profit now!!
Those big-headed, big-lipped things? They gave me nightmares.
I don’t like bratz. My mom hates the name. “Bratz”
Sallie, I do agree!! They have created new dolls that are adorable!! (I’m going to be guilty of getting them…)
I had one when I was little… *shudders*.
Never underestimate those superskinny bratz.
Cool . I will prob. be getting them.
Silly kitty.
Hehehe, my mom’s making my sandwich and my kitty thinks that it’s for
her…
