It’s a pretty dreary, rainy, cold day here and I almost wish I had the American Girl Cozy Sweater in my size!! Anyhow, this is one of the outfits Natalie had wanted for her dolls for a while and when we were at the American Girl store at Tyson’s after Christmas they were out, so we had to order it when we ordered McKenna’s stuff.
The outfit consists of a tunic style sweater, soft gray leggings and knit sweater slipper/boots, a headband and a charm.
Calista (MyAG #39) lounging on the Emily Rose Trundle Bed with her new cat Ginger. You get a better view of the buttons on her boots in this picture. While I love her boots – they are a real pain to put on!
Here is another, closer view of Calista and the sweater. I moved the bed into Megan’s room for the picture – what do you think of the color of the walls in Megan’s room? I love them!

This is my favorite MAG outfit!! It looks good on almost every doll, but especially this one (which my sister got for Christmas) and my MAG#52. I can’t wait to buy it. And the walls are nice too, almost an American Girl shade of pinkish red.
I WANT THIS!
i love this outfit
I love it and the walls are the exact color of my friends sister who’s name is Meagan room
I love the color of Megan’s room! Its so pretty. I got the cozy sweater outfit for Christmas.he sweater, leggings and headband but the boots are hard to get on and I think they look a little weird. I had Felicity wear it for a picture I sent in to the contest.
Uh I mean I like the sweater, leggings and head band.
I love it! Absolutly gorgeous!
I really want this outfit! I have since it came out! Thanks for the pictures!
I want that outfit for me too. It’s a favorite of mine.
I really wish I would’ve got this outfit for Christmas!! But hey, I got MAG #39 and the skiing outfit plus accessories for it, and a InnerStarU book!! What do I have to complain about?!/!
And it’s so cute on her!!! Plus those boots are really in style right now!! In fact, I have a pair, just not the same colors! Thanks for posting that!!
I love this set! I used it, actually my daughter’s idea, to use it as a Kitt’s Kloset Black Friday post–one of my dolls that was wearing it was all ready to go Black Friday shopping, lol. Boy those boots really are hard to get on the doll, nothing to really hold onto! But one of the cutest outfits I have, still very happy with it.
My youngest daughter got that set for Christmas from her grandma. I agree with you – I would love an adult-sized sweater just like it
I also love the boots. The whole outfit is just adorable.
This is a great outfit and I really recommend it. You can mix and match the pieces, too. One day Clara (my #44) added a denim mini skirt to it and that was a cute layered look.
there are a lot of dreary rainy days where i live, and I agree with you, it would be great to have that outfit in real girl size! Lucky for me it’s snowing today.
char how is the trundle bed? is it sturdy? I have a lot of questions to ask. could you please answer these?
Savannah – I like the trundle bed a lot. It was easy to assemble and you can use the bottom as a bed or a drawer to hold little things.
