A few weeks ago Diana put together this great look at Alice, the Circus Girl from Our Generation, but I think my inbox swallowed it in the days after my surgery! Anyhow, better late than never!
Alice has Arrived!
Hi, my name is Alice and what a long journey, but I am here!
Hallo, anyone out there? Where am I? It is so quiet and what a beautiful room.
Yaee, I managed to get free, let me step out of this box!
Dabbie saw Alice from afar and hurried to help her out. Let me help you, said Dabbie.
Alice invited Dabbie to her practice show at the circus. Dabbie loves cotton candy, and she sees her friend Libby working the concession stand. Libby is trying to sort the tickets. Alice is practicing with Goldie her show dog.
A close up of the goodies at the concession stand. They even sell animal balloons, what fun!
A close up of Libby wearing the extra dress that came with Alice.
Alice and Goldie practice the routine with the hoop. “Jump, Goldie” said Alice.
A close up of Alice, she comes with a glittery heart on the side of her cheek. Her hair is so soft and smooth. It curls at the ends and there is lots of hair, definitely not a shortage on the hair.
Although Alice comes with her hair parted and tied at each side, it does come nicely together when let loose. I can see the hair being an issue with a small child or someone that likes to brush the hair a lot. This hair is semi-curly, and not meant for heavy brushing. I do like it a lot, but at heart I like curly hair.
Fun Facts: This is the most expensive set that OG has with a doll ($32.99), but the accessories are worth it and all the details on Alice’s dress are awesome. It also comes with a nice book and a bookmarker. I normally would not spend a lot on the OG dolls, but this year I think is one of their best, my personal opinion
